The plastic is difficult to glue. The glues that I have used on the dashboard did not work at all. A glue welding tool may work but I have never used one.

If you look under glove box you will see two to four screws that hold the glove box on. Take out the screws and the glove box will drop down and you can get inside and release latch..then you can get a replacement latch and replace.
Hi. The 2006 Kia sorento is not equipped wiht a cabin air filter. Only the 07 and 08 sorentos are equipped wiht this filter. With that said; If your vehicel had a filter, it would be located just behind the glove box. If you were to access it for replacment, you would Open the glove box and remove the side stops so the glove box can swing fully down and hang on its hinges. Once that is done, you will be able to access to the cabin air filter and the clips which hold it in place.
1.First dissable the air bag system 2. open the glove compartment, squeeze the side in to release the glove box stops and lower glove box. 3.You will see the Blower Motor Resistor directly behind the glove box. 4.There will be two pig tails (one vehicle harness, one resistor), remove pig tails, remove two screws to free resistor. 5.Replace resistor, reverse removal procedure. Done!! Take care..
replacing a blend door actuator is a tedious job. You have to remove the steering column taking xtra careful for the wirings. Complete removal of the dashboard, remove the instr. cluster, radio , glove box.Remove the console box, discharge the freon ,disconnect the heater hoses, ac hoses. After removing the dash you can gain access of the ac/heater phlenum. Remove the blend door actutor.bolts and screws are sometimes in a concealed location so xtra patience is needed.
"look for your air filter box. its a big square box on the right hand side of the
car under the hood. you cant miss it. ther should either be clips or screws
holding the box together. you have to get the top off of it to get to the

Hi,welcome to fix ya. its behind the glove box . Just open the top compartment inside the glove box (button in the middle) and pull the compartment out it has velcro and plastic snaps on the back side > Then grab the compartment by the outside and push the lock tabs in and pull the tray with the cabin filter out and change the filter.
six screws hold the glove box two at bottom four at the inside when u open the box after the screws are out pull on the box to remove and three hold the blower motor.its not hard at all.
Get it fixed under warranty. My 04 and your 06 have the same glove box. The right hinge was rattling around in mine and they replaced it no problem. Not worth trying to fix yourself :)
