Reinstalled the last SW version in the computer (I have Windows 7), unplugged from the power
Do not re-install,
1. disconnect the printer from the computer
2. download and install (do not install any junk which you do not want - only ccleaner!) ccleaner, choose free version (of course nothing is preventing you from purchasing other versions):
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
3. open ccleaner
4. go to "tools" uninstall printer and all related programs from tools, while you are at it - uninstall all junk which you accomodated and never used...
5. run (in ccleaner) "registry", repeat till you have "no errors find"
6. run (in ccleaner) "cleaner"
7. reboot your computer
check and download updated drivers/programs for your printer here (check if you run 32 bit or 64bit!):
http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=product&locale=en&productCode=LEXMARK_X5650&segment=SUPPORT&userlocale=EN#1
run installation and follow instructions, this should solve your problems, if it is printing in reverse - it will be in settings of the printer, you need to revert it to "normal", or follow this little instructions...
hope this will help you - do not forget to vote...
All catered for via print preferences on computer. Printer takes instruction from computer printer setup when you press print you get a drop down with menu
A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by
resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer
from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and
re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns
on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again
once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on
the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).
