Is it asking you for wireless network key? You need to check the wireless settings of your router. Connect one computer to the router with the Ethernet cable. OPen the setup page of the router and check the wireless settings of your router.
It looks like your security settings is not the same with your router. Double check the security name and security code in your Wii is the same as your router's. If it is different change it to what your router has then try to connect it again. If it still don't connect try to unplug your router and wait for a few minutes and plug it again. Wait for your router to initialize and if it is ready try to connect again in the internet.
I hope this helps. Have a nice day!
It seems that you are having a problem with the security settings entered in your DS is not the same as what is in your router. Check the security key and the security name are the same with your router's setting and make sure that it is the same for it to connect to the internet. After you input the correct security settings check if it will connect to the internet. If the problem still persist you can try to unplug your router and wait for a few minutes and plug it again. Wait for the router to initialize and when it is done try connecting again to the internet.
You can also try to make a new connection on your DS and make sure you have the correct settings and it is the same with your router's settings.
I hope this helps. Have a nice day!
Satellite Internet often causes
this Error Code. You must have a cable or DSL internet connection. Other
connection types, such as dial-up and satellite, are typically not
compatible. Contact your Internet Service Provider if you are not sure
what type of internet connection you have.
Ours servers may be trying to handle an unusually high amount
of traffic (especially if a new Wii update is available). Please wait a
few hours and try the connection again later.
Does your internet service provider (ISP) require that you
log in whenever you wish to use the internet? If so, your ISP may not be
compatible with the Wii console. Please contact your ISP for additional
information.
If you are still unable to connect, and have waited a few hours,
please try the following:
How are you attempting to connect your Wii console online?
Adjust the Wii's manual settings. Click
here for more information.
Try adjusting the "Channel" your
wireless router broadcasts
on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to
either
channel 1 or 11. Be sure to try both channels if the
first one
you try does not work. This can potentially increase the
download
speed. For information on accessing your router's
settings, click
here to select the brand name and model number of
your router
(if available). (The "Channel" setting is typically
found in the "Wireless" section of your router's setup
utility.)
If adjusting the "Channel" did not work, please review
our "Slow
Download Times or Errors Received While Connecting"
troubleshooting
tips by clicking here.
Try temporarily disabling your router's firewall.*
Are you using a Netgear brand wireless router? Our expeirence
shows disabling the "SPI Firewall" of the router may
help the connection. The "SPI Firewall" option is
typically found
under the "WAN Setup" tab of the router's settings. For
information on accessing your router's settings, please click
here and select
the model of the Netgear router you own (if available).

Nintendo Wi-Fi USB
Connector
Does your PC have any security programs (firewall,
anti-virus,
anti-spyware, anti-adware, etc.) installed? If you are using the
Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, and have a software firewall or
other
computer security program installed on your computer, there may
be additional steps you must complete to allow a successful
connection.
"Trusted" Applications:
If your firewall or PC security program keeps a list of trusted
applications
(also known as a "trusted zone"), the following programs are installed
with
the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, and require internet communications.
If prompted
by your firewall or PC security program, add these to the list of
trusted applications.
This information may also apply to certain computer security
applications,
such as anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc.:
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector USB (NintendoWFCReg.exe)
Setup.exe (when installing the USB Connector)
SoftAPInstDrv.bin
mdriver.exe
If you are using a router, you may need to temporarily
disable the router's
firewall to allow the Wii console to connect online and receive a
system update.
Once the update is received, you can turn the firewall back on. For
information
on locating and disabling your router's firewall, please consult the
router's
manual or contact the manufacturer of the router.
If you are still receiving this error code, please click

Security Code is configued in Wireless Router itself.
Please open your Wireless router Admin Panel in Internet Explorer. Please follow this steps.
1. Open Internet Explorer and type : http://192.168.x.x and press enter (x is router IP. Generally its 1.1 or 0.1)
2. Go to Wireless Security Tab and look there for Security code.
Now type that Security code in your Ps3 .
You find all details regarding to access router in internet explorer from Product Manual. (you can download product manual from Manufacturer site)
I suspect the device that is asking for a password will be your wireless router. Normally, the password, or key, is printed on a label on the side or bottom of the router.
The security code, that is called network key, is stored inside the router. Check your router manual, it will tell you how to connect to the router using Internet Explorer. You put router IP number on Internet explorer bar and open router control panel, then you go into wireless settings, and there you find the key.
Your modem has already registered itself with the MAC address of your computer, so it doesn't recognize the MAC of your router. In cases like this you have two options:
Configure your router to clone the MAC of your computer
Connect the router to your modem and do a soft reset so the modem registers itself with the MAC of your router.
Clone MAC - Go to your routers Admin web interface and on the main page you should see the "Router MAC Address" section at the bottom. Select "Use Computer MAC Address" and click "Apply" and your router should reboot and you'll be back in business.
Soft Reset -
Plug the modem into the router via the ethernet cable then do a soft
reset.
To do a soft reset, do the following:
pull the power cord from the modem
count to 5
hold down the Reset EMR button on the modem
plug back in the power
count to 30 while holding the Reset EMR button (the modem should be blinking a lot)
release the Reset EMR button and see what happens.
