Motorola Motorola z play droid is google locked and although I have full access to `previously synced Google accounts and it legitimately is my phone it will not let me past the set up wizard

It can be done by hard reset it. But you have to compromised all your data in it.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume down button.
  3. While continuing to hold Volume down, press and release the Power button but continue to hold Volume down until the boot mode screen appears.
  4. From the Bootloader selection screen (image of an Android with Start), select RECOVERY MODE.
Use the Volume buttons to cycle through the available options and the Power button to select.
  5. From the Android system recovery screen (image of an Android with an exclamation mark), do the following to display the menu options:
Ensure the steps below are performed in a timely manner. If power is held too long (longer than 5 seconds), the device resets.
    1. Press and hold the Power button.
    2. While continuing to hold the power button, press the Volume up button then release all buttons.
  6. Select Wipe data/factory reset.

How do I add Boot devices to Boot Menu on Acer V5-122P which only shows the internal HDD

Because this is one of the thin client laptops all you have in the laptop is a Hard drive. and other boot device is a USB device that you plug in. As such the bios will not show it until it is plugged in and then you can select it to boot from.

Cannot Establish a Microsoft ActiveSync connection between host PC and MC9090

Motorola MC9090
Motorola MC9090 Target Platform fetch.php?media=installation:symbol:mc9090.jpg This guide is intended for use with a Symbol MC9090 running Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0. Assumptions
  • Technician should be familiar with connecting the terminal via cradle, USB and ActiveSync.
  • Technician already has the SyVox Client CAB and a grammar CAB (either the generic one or a site specific one)
Installation Procedure
  1. Set up and save your wireless configuration.
  2. Establish an ActiveSync1) connection between your PC and your terminal.
  3. Copy the SyVox Client and Grammar CAB files to the device in a known directory.
  4. From the device, install the SyVox Speech Client and Grammar CAB files by tapping on them from the directory you installed them in.
  5. If this is your first time running SyVox on this terminal, SyVox will request a License Key. Go to the Menu ? License screen where you will be given a screen with a field for your License Key and your SyVox Serial Number (your device's unique identifier). Contact Genesta with the SyVox Serial Number displayed to receive a 16-character License Key for the top field. Enter it and tap OK.
  6. To perform a simple test of your installation after SyVox finishes loading the speech engine, tap Menu ? Options ? Host Settings.... Choose the File option; then select the demo.xml file provided with installation; and, then the OK selection to accept that demo file. Select the Press to START Listening button near the bottom of the screen to begin the demo. Remember to have your headset nearby as the built in microphone is not sufficent for production environments.
  7. Once you are ready to use this device with a remote host, to connect SyVox to a remote host, tap Menu ? Options ? Host Settings.... Select a Connection Method, enter a Connection Address, and tap OK.
    • A Socket host address is entered in the format *.*.*.*:*, (IP or hostname, colon (:), port (optional; defaults to 3001)).
    • A Web host address host is entered in the format http://*:*/ (http://, IP or hostname, colon (:), port (optional; defaults to 80), rest of address).
Notes

Warm Boot

Sometimes Windows Mobile devices require you perform a warm boot. This can be achieved on this device my holding down the red on/off button for approximately 30 seconds. You will know when the warm boot has completed when a white screen is displayed and the unit restarts the operating system.

Cold Boot

Program installations and settings on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 devices will persist even after a cold boot. To achieve the effects of what a cold boot does on other devices, you must perform a clean boot. Because a clean boot requires interaction between a PC and a terminal in the first place, SyVox is currently not designed to reinstall automatically after a clean boot. Therefore, if you perform a clean boot on your terminal, you will have to repeat the procedures listed in this guide. 1) ActiveSync acts as the gateway between your Microsoft Windows-powered PC and Windows CE-powered device and allows you to transfer data between the two. Download it here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/4/6/5467c040-a935-4987-aa30-5dcbc36a57db/setup.msi hope that helps

How do I do a hard reset for my motorola blurr? I'm having problems with the touch screen sensitivity. It selects things that I don't touch, and doesn't select what I do touch, please help!!

  • If the device is responsive, back up all necessary data.
  • Power off the phone
  • While the phone is off, press and hold the Camera key, then turn the phone back on using the Lock/Power key
    • Note: Continue to hold down the Camera key while the phone boots up
  • When prompted, release the Camera key
  • On the USB FastBoot/BOOTLOADR MENU screen, press and release the Volume down key to enter the Recovery Mode
    • If done correctly, you will see VOLUME DOWN KEY PRESSED appear on the screen
    • IMPORTANT: You only have 10 seconds to complete this step before the device powers back on. If that occurs, you will need to start back at Step 1
  • When the "Triangle!" screen appears, tap the bottom right corner of the display to access the Motorola system recovery screen .
    • Note: If this doesnt work, Touch the bottom right corner and make a small circle gesture to access the recovery screen.
  • Highlight the row labeled wipe data/factory reset [Alt+W]
    • Note: You can use the touch display, volume up/down keys, or the Tinytouch pad to highlight the row
  • Tap Ok to begin the wipe/factory reset
  • When the wipe is complete and the device returns to the Motorola system recover page, highlight the row labeled reboot system now [Menu+Back]
    • Note: You can use the touch display, volume up/down keys, or the Tinytouch pad to highlight the row
  • Tap Ok to begin the reboot
  • When the device powers back up, you will see the MOTOBLUR setup screen and have the option to create or sign into an existing BLUR account
