Have you pulled the stem out until it clicks ? Most hand watches have a stem on the side that must be pulled out a very short distance in order to set the time and date . Hope this helps

The 60-second counter hand shakes slightly when watch is tilted.

I don't think it is normal for hand to move when tilted. what about the warranty? Tissot must cover your watch under the warranty. Mind you I had a similar experience with Samsonite luggage and despite International guarantee, they did not honor. I have lost faith in some brand names.

Hands cannot keep time

There is nothing you can do yourself, because your watch has a loose cannon pinion and for tightening it the special watchmakers tool is obligatory. You have to find your nearest watch repair shop and ask watchmaker to do that. No need to go to any specific watch repair shop, as any decent watchmaker has the tool and can do the job. Rate me, plz.

CAN'T SET TIME

I have an AW 150 watch. I looked everywhere for a solution to setting it. I found nothing. It appears that all types of this watch are hard to set. I happened upon the correct procedure for at least setting the watch.

My watch has 4 set buttons that you can push. 2 on each side. Hold the upper right hand button until something starts flashing on the watch. On mine it was the seconds. Then release the button. Now each time you push that button for a very short moment, the flashing part of the watch will progress through each area (minutes, hours, date, etc). When you get to the area you want to set/adjust, use the bottom right hand button to move up/forwards and the bottom left hand button to move down/backwards. When you have fixed one function push the upper right hand button to move to the next function you want to change and repeat the procedure. When you are done, hold the upper right hand button in until the watch quits flashing anywhere and then release the button. Your watch is no longer in the adjust mode. Hope this works for you. It drove me nuts until I figured it out.

Cant get Casio 4303 to enter receive mode

See: http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw4303.pdf
and go to the section "Adjusting the Home Position"

This is a "calibration" procedure to get the motor of the analog movement back to the home position of 12:00. This worked for me, after replacing the battery.

Note that in this procedure the hour hand does not move separately, but moves with the minute hand. So to get the hour hand to move, you have to let the minute hand spin a number of times until you get the hour hand up to twelve o'clock.
