Question about Dryers

Dryer "check vent" light goes on

Runs about 10 minutes and "check vent" light goes on. Wet clothes are barely warm. Light still comes on without the vent duct on back of dryer (So must not be a clog in expandable venting duct attached to back or venting that goes through roof. Also has plenty of room away from the wall. Flexible vent duct is not minded behind dryer. I vacuumed duct in back of dryer out and lint filter on front. Still getting "check vent" light on. What size capacity gas plumbing to install on this dryer? Installed is a moderate demand capacity gas pipe connector.

My dryer is warm inside and there ia good airflow out the vent and the dryer has been taken apart and "de-linted' how come it is still dripping water from the door and it takes a long time to dry?

I hate to say this but I would look at your washer to see if the "spin cycle" is working, the clothes are way to wet to be in a dryer (electric or gas.) If your washer is working correctly the clothes should be barely damp when the spin cycle is complete. Please check that first! Good Luck!

My maytag atlantis dryer will constantly run without heat. Also when you open the dryer door the light does not come on. Any ideas of what the issue is?

IF IT RUNS WITHOUT HEAT ALL THE TIME, YOU NEED TO CHECK THE THERMAL FUSE OR IGNITOR. IF IT'S GET WARM SOMETIMES AND TAKES A LONG TIME TO DRY YOUR CLOTHES, CHECK YOUR VENT TO THE OUTSIDE, RADIANT SENSOR, AND COILS

HDV6UK...clothes are warm but not drying!! help

Vent going away from the dryer is stopped up full of lint or the vent tubing is collapsed causing the hot wet air to remain in your dryer.

Clothes get warm but stay wet and do not fully

You need to check the venting. Take the vent hose off the back of the dryer and try drying a load with it off and see if it will fully dry. If so, clean the vent hose.

I replaced the coil set, but that was not the problem. The ignitor will light the gas flame and it will blow for about 2 minutes, then the gas shuts off. Since replacing the coils, I have not tried the...

The gas flame will cycle on and off in response to the thermostat. Two minutes sounds about right for the dryer to warm up to temperature. The gas will shut off until the temperature cools down and then should cycle on again. Let the dryer run (either with or without clothes inside) and watch to see if the gas cycles on and off. If the gas does not come back on there may be a problem with the thermostat or auto sensor or the exhaust vent duct may be clogged.

Dryer puts out heat, but clothes are still wet

There may be a clog underneath the lint trap or the exhaust vent may be clogged, if either fails try changing temperature knob to a different setting.

GGW9200 Dryer Does Not Dry. Status Light goes immediately to Wet

if the heat is only staying on for a few seconds and cutting out the vent line could be clogged, pull out the dryer, remove the vent line from the back and start it,if the heat stays on the vent is blocked, this is the easiest thing to start with,if the vent is clogged you can try a leaf blower and blow the lint out of the vent line
