This camera came out in 2003 and retailed for $400. It's only a 3.2MP camera with a 1.5 inch lcd screen...not much by today's standards but was quite a camera in its day. I'm guessing by your list of problems that it would be quite expensive to fix if you could even find someone to fix it. I would seriously consider putting the money toward a new camera.

the battrery door if still connected you can use a small strip of crome duct tape it blends in with your camera . close the door the best you can and tape it! good luck

I am no expert at all, and the only camera I took apart was a Z3, which I did only to remove the battery door. dunno if Z3's similar to Z1; it IS similar to Z6 though.
