Can the SP 204 SF scan to pdf?

All the scan setting relate to pictures not pdf

Now after you scan to picture, copy and paste to a document and print or just print the image and send to the new 'printer' to PDF thingee and voila ...

I have a new laptop with Windows 8.1 (lucky me). I can't seem to get my Brother MFC 7860 DW to preform its normal scanning in pdf format.
you can try this solution : first scan to picture file and after convert it to a pdf file with a pdf printer like this one : http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php

It's "check SP wires". It means (do I have to say it?) Check the Speaker Wires for short circuits.
