How do i connect projector to dstv?

Hello I need help with my benq ms 500. Once I plug dstv or laptop on it, it goes off completely within 2 minutes. I tried to clean its fans n board but I stil have same problem

Connect via AV input
Then select source by AV.

If you connect the laptop before switching it on, it will default to external screen and force a picture, make sure the projector is powered up and configured to the correct resolution or you will get nothing.

Try holding down the Function key (Fn), then pressing F5. Wait a few seconds. On most laptop, each press of the F5 key will toggle between laptop display only, projector only and Dual (same image on both - my favorite).

You'll probably see a little Monitor-shaped icon on the F5 key. It's possible it's another function key - on Dells it's usually F8.

It has nothing to do with installing English version over Japanese version , check it whether it shows in device manager or not,installed it. If you don't get the message"New Hardware Detected" when you plug the projector into the laptop, you probably don't have the drivers for the projector loaded into the laptop or computer and the computer doesn't recognize the projector. After your finished using the projector, be sure to disconnect it properly from the laptop. There is an icon in the tray, "Safely Remove Hardware". De-activate the projector BEFORE you pull out the USB cable from the laptop.

Change it to clone the display. It is probably set to extend your desktop not to clone.
