If you're not getting any sound from your DSTV decoder when connected to your Aim 60 Inch Digital UHD TV via HDMI, there are a few things you can try:
Check your TV settings: Make sure that your TV's audio settings are set correctly. Check that the volume is turned up and that the TV speakers are not muted or turned off. Also, make sure that the TV is set to receive audio through the HDMI input.
Check your DSTV settings: Make sure that your DSTV decoder is set to output audio through the HDMI connection. You can usually check this in the settings menu on the decoder.
Try a different HDMI input: If you have other HDMI inputs on your TV, try connecting the DSTV decoder to a different one to see if the problem persists. This will help to narrow down whether the issue is with the HDMI input on your TV or with the DSTV decoder.
Try a different HDMI cable: Even if you think your HDMI cable is fine, it's possible that there is an issue with it that is causing the sound problem. Try a different HDMI cable to see if that resolves the issue.
If none of these steps solve the issue, it's possible that there is a problem with the HDMI input on your TV. In that case, you may need to contact Aim customer support for further assistance or consider bringing the TV to a repair shop.
DStv has launched its new DStv Now app for Samsung smart TVs and Android boxes, which allows you to stream DStv content directly to your TV, without theneed for a decoder. ... With DStv Now, you can stream on two devices simultaneously (like Showmax), but remember that you've probably got the decoder sitting there too.
Hello I need help with my benq ms 500. Once I plug dstv or laptop on it, it goes off completely within 2 minutes. I tried to clean its fans n board but I stil have same problem
If you connect the laptop before switching it on, it will default to external screen and force a picture, make sure the projector is powered up and configured to the correct resolution or you will get nothing. Hope that helps
Try holding down the Function key (Fn), then pressing F5. Wait a few seconds. On most laptop, each press of the F5 key will toggle between laptop display only, projector only and Dual (same image on both - my favorite).
You'll probably see a little Monitor-shaped icon on the F5 key. It's possible it's another function key - on Dells it's usually F8.
It has nothing to do with installing English version over Japanese version , check it whether it shows in device manager or not, installed it. If you don't get the message"New Hardware Detected" when you plug the
projector into the laptop, you probably don't have the drivers for the
projector loaded into the laptop or computer and the computer doesn't recognize the
projector. After your finished using the projector, be sure to
disconnect it properly from the laptop. There is an icon in the tray,
"Safely Remove Hardware". De-activate the projector BEFORE you pull out
the USB cable from the laptop.
