This model dishwasher was already in the house that im renting. Seemed to be no more than two to three years old and in excellent condition,until tonight,when the washing cycle finished i went to open the door and it wouldnt open. It was so hard to open, it wouldnt unlock. Usually when a cycle is finished it is easy to open but not this time. My husband reset the control panel and managed to get the door open. But now it wont shut. The door wont click in. This is the first time this has happened since we have lived in this house. Never had a problem been working so good up until now. We treat the dishwasher with great care. Can someone please tell me why the door wont close and how come it was so hard to open after the cycle finished?
You did not giver manufacturer, model and year, it is not possible therefore to give detailed info what to do - for future references - do provide these "little" details, telepathy is overrated and usually do not work...
from your description can be several causes of that, one of them is motherboard fault, another will be actuator and third can be mechanical fault within lock or with hinge... make your pick...
