[email protected] forgot password

Only one person is supposed to know your password. When logging in, on that page is a button, forgot password or something like that. Press the button and you will get an email, on the address you gave the site while setting up your account. Follow the instructions in the mail and everything will be ok in just a few minutes.
If you can access your account, goto settings and there change password. Be aware they again ask you current password before you can give in any changes.

Messages stuck in outlook box which are too big to send

Outlook links to an e-mail account, some of which have (overall file size) bandwidth limits that can struggle to cope with long e-mails, especially if they are also laden with embedded images, links and other items and/or have large files attached to them. In certain circumstances, the e-mail just refuses to be sent, in others the difficulties can be at the recipient's end, with such e-mails commonly being rejected as undeliverable.

The email provider that seems to cope best with these sorts of bandwidth problems is Gmail.

So you have two options to consider, depending on the nature of your typical e-mail correspondence.

1] If this particular problem has never occurred before and/or this e-mail is and/or is untypical of the type of e-mails you send and/or will send in future, consider opening a backup GMail account, purely for the purpose of sending this e-mail and for rare, future occasions when bandwidth transmission or reception problems with your current e-mail provider find you in a similar situation, leaving your current e-mail account as your principal Outlook Express configured e-mail address. The new GMail new account could then be retained as a back as a secondary e-mail address to be given out in unverifiable or uncertain circumstances when you are not 100% comfortable about giving out your main e-mail address for fear of unwittingly opening a gateway to spam or other unsolicited e-mails or for data security or other reasons.

2] If this particular problem has occurred before and/or this e-mail is and/or is likely to be typical of the type of e-mails you send and/or will send in future, consider opening a GMail account and transferring your Outlook integration to the new GMail Account, leaving your current e-mail account as a catchall e-mail address until such time as all your important contacts have successfully and unfailingly migrated their regular correspondence with you to the new GMail address. Then the old account can remain as a back up address, for irregular contacts and other senders who retain your old contact details, and for giving out in unverifiable and/or uncertain circumstances.

Trying To set up yahoo mail in my HTC phone need details

Hi,

You will need adjust the mail application's POP settings to get your Yahoo! Mail messages into it.

POP access is a service for owners of one of the following:

Yahoo! Mail Pop Access & Forwarding

Yahoo! Mail
Plus Premium Services
A Broadband account
A Small Business account

Please note that access to IMAP servers is not available.

To use an email client or application to send and receive Yahoo! Mail messages, you may need to designate a new incoming (POP) mail server and a new outgoing (SMTP) mail server. Consult your owner's manual for instructions on designating servers in the email application.

If you can't add new POP or
SMTP servers, you will need to change your current server settings.

Before you make any changes, write down your current settings. You might need to revert to your original settings later if you decide to send and receive messages from your other email addresses.

The following steps will help you find the POP settings for your Yahoo! Mail account and configure it:

Log onto your Yahoo! Mail account from a PC.

Click Options > Mail Options.
Click POP & Forwarding.
Click Set up or edit POP & Forwarding.
Click POP Settings.

Note your Server Setting information. Your phone email client or application will ask for these settings:

Incoming Mail Server (POP3)- for example, pop.mail.yahoo.com.

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)- for example, smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
Account Name/Username, your Yahoo! Member ID- for example, myuserID.
Email address, your Yahoo! Mail address- for example, [email protected].
Password, your Yahoo! Mail password- for example, l0ngitudin*l

Notes:

POP server settings may change from time to time and you should confirm the current POP server settings in Yahoo! Mail if it is not working.

When using
Microsoft Outlook, replace the "@" in your address with "%".

As an alternative to configuring Yahoo! Mail POP mail configurations, go to:

http://mobile.yahoo.com/mail

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mobile/...

Enter your phone number and send a link to your phone; the best Yahoo! Mail experience will be suggested to you.
Have a nice day

I cannot send mail on my MacBook Pro (Intel) using OS X's Mail program at home using my 2wire; it works at the office on Cable. What's wrong with my settings and is it software or hardware?

You may be using the wrong SMTP address for the Outgoing mail server address for your email service.

If you are not sure what your SMTP Outgoing Mail Server address is, then you can reference this link
below, to locate the Outgoing mail server address of your current email service provider

Link: POP & SMTP Email Server Addresses
---------------------------------------------------------------------
In regards to checking your mail settings in Mac OS X Mail you will need to perform these few steps:

*Launch Mail
• Click on Mail name and select Preferences from
the drop down menu.
• Now select the Account tab.
• Locate your affected email account from the side
bar and from Account Information, make sure
your Outgoing mail server address is correct.
35cc48f.jpg

I am using a .Mac account as an example,
but the same principal applies.

Now if you do find that the Outgoing mail server address for your email service is correct, then the issue may be with the SMTP server for your email service.

One way to determine SMTP functionality however, is to go online and use the web mail page for your email account and send out a test email.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I would also recommend you make sure your Macbook Pro also has the most current version update.

Apple usually has bug fixes in each of their version updates for the Mac OS X Mail application, as well as other built in Mac OS X applications.

If you are still unable to send outgoing mail, contact your service provider to get more assistance and have them check your SMTP server address, authentication and connection with their Outgoing Mail servers.

My yahoo ID can't sending mail

  1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of the page and select Mail Options.
  2. Under “Management”, click Mail Addresses.
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the box, enter an account name for your own reference (for example, Work or School) …and click Continue.
  5. There would be two boxes: In the first one, put the name you’d like others to see when they get email from this address. In the second one, type the Email address you’d like send from – from within Yahoo! Mail! (You’ll be asked to verify this other address in an email we will send to you there.) Click Continue.
  6. Do you want to be able to check email in this account from your Yahoo! account as well? (You can check your mail in clients like Outlook and Eudora, but currently you won’t be able to check mail in other webmail accounts with providers like Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo. You can send from these other addresses from within Yahoo! Mail.)
    1. If yes, (you want to check mail in your Outlook or Eudora or similar client), skip to step 9.
    2. If no, you don't want to check mail in this account, you just want to be able to SEND from it from inside your Yahoo! account. Click Skip this Step at the bottom of the Add Account page and continue to step 7.
  7. On the page that opens, check to make sure you’ve entered the correct email address. If you need to make any changes, click Edit Address. If it looks fine, click Send Verification to generate the email we send to you to make sure this is an actual account you use.
  8. The “Verify Account” page opens. Here’s the easiest way to complete your setup and start sending mail from the new address:
    1. Leave this "Verify Account" page open.
    2. In a different browser window or application, sign into your other Mail account.
    3. Look for an email from Yahoo! Member Services, and open it.
    4. Copy the “confirmation code” in the last line of the email by either double-clicking it or clicking and dragging over it, then either clicking Copy from the Edit menu or pressing Ctrl + “c”. (Mac users press Command + “c”.)
    5. Get back on the “Verify Account” page and Paste that confirmation code in the box beside “Confirmation Code:” …You can paste by clicking Paste in the Edit menu, or by pressing Ctrl + “v”. (Mac users press Command + “v”.)
    6. At the bottom of the page, click Verify Account.
    7. A sign-in page opens with your ID already filled in. Sign in with your password.
    8. You’re done. See the new account in the list on your Mail Accounts page? Now you can easily send from it by opening a Compose page, clicking the down-arrow on the end of the “From:” box, and clicking the new account in the pull-down list of email addresses. People receiving the message will see it as being sent from that address.
  9. OK, so you also want to be able to check email in this other account from your Yahoo! Mail account? No problem. On the page you’re looking at, enter that account’s mail server name (currently, only POP mail servers are supported). It will be something like pop.goestheweasel.com. To find out what it is, either search that application’s Help pages for “POP” or “server” (or both), or contact that email provider directly.
  10. Next, type your user name for that account and the password. This is completely confidential! Nobody has access to this information, but Yahoo! Mail needs it to check the account. Note: Your user name is the text in your email address before the "@" symbol.
  11. We thought a good way to identify mail from different accounts would be to give it a different color in your Yahoo! Inbox. So that’s what this last part is about: pick an indicator color to mark messages received from this account.
  12. Click Setup Mail Server. You should now be looking at the “Verify Account” page. Go back to Step 7 to hopskotch your way through account verification. Once that’s done, you can do it all from Yahoo! Mail – check mail in that account and send mail from that account.
Note: Yahoo! Mail only retrieves messages from your external (POP) mail accounts when you request it. Do this by clicking the other account’s server name in the upper-left corner of the page under “Check Other Mail”.
