Jasmin
good morning to you . Yours is a machine that boils all the waterbed fore it goes through the coffe. I have had one like that and if my memory does not fail me, it stopped boiling the water and there was I tiny wee valve that had to be replaces. The valve was in the bottom part. Good luck, kolbrun

SOURCE: Coffee maker brews MUCH slower and makes less coffee

It may not help but won't hurt; put a couple of cups of plain vinegar into the water chamber, turn on briefly until it starts to pump, then turn off and leave overnight - at least, if not longer. The mild acid content may clear some lime buildup.

SOURCE: Warming plate boils coffee.

Make sure you are using the type of commercial coffee pot like the one in the picture. They don't have to have to be plastic with the metal bottom, they can be all glass. The commercial pots are heavy duty and usually disperse the heat well.

If you are using commercial pots the only solution without replacing the warmers is to put three pennies on the warmer and to put the pot on top of them. The pennies will get hot so don't forget and grab them but the pennies help to move the pot just a little way away from the direct heat.

There is a thermostat underneath the top of the machine. There are a couple of little screws that you need to undo then you will see a little dial or even a little T on top of a metal box or circuit board. I recommend that you unplug the machine before opening it up. Then just turn the thermostat down - usually counter clockwise. Turn it just a little and put the top back on the machine and let it heat up.

SOURCE: Bunn coffee maker leaks water

There are 3 seals in your unit that could cause your problem. there is a silicon seal right under the pour-in tray, and two on the top of the tank. one of those is for the thermostat, the other is for the sprayhead tube. any of these could leak, causing water to come out the bottom of the brewer. One other thing that can cause this is a scale buildup between the pour-in tray and the tank.

SOURCE: Electric coffee maker no longer boils the water

As you explain i understood that heating element is in defect. Even if you don't find replacement in part DO NOT THROW IT. only remove electrical parts and you use it in direct heat , with gas or fire. buon apetit.

My Delonghi coffee maker DCF2212P is not making coffee properly. I put twelve cups of water in and only three cups of coffee are made, and the machine just boils and boils.

Try running vinegar through machine 2 times. I would not ruse vinegar that came through machine. Now run 1 carafe of water through to rinse it out. Now try making coffee.

Coffee makers

Generally, coffee makers DO NOT have a separate "pump" that pumps any water of coffee around, but depends on a heating mechanism, that when the liquid is BOILING, causes pressure that forces the liquid to move to another location. If the heating coil is NOT working and getting the water/coffee hot enough to boil, then it will have to be replaced.

How to prime

I have NO idea what coffee maker you have but most do NOT have to be primed. Just put put water iun the top resevoir, coffee in the other and turn it on. THe water will boil and very hot water will boil up to the coffee in the coffee resevoir and through it.

How hot should fresh perked coffee be from any coffee maker?

some people say that coffee can burn when you pour boiling water on the beans and recommend that you should add the milk first... I just let the kettle cool down until the boiling stop as well. as for espresso makers, water will boil and the gas (liquid to gas at boiling temperature) is pushed through the beans, so its rather hot and the beans doesn't burn.coffee should be as hot as possible!

Thumping, bubbling noises when heating the water.

This may not actually be a problem, but normal noises associated with boiling water in an enclosed space. An awful lot of energy is released when water is boiled. My coffee maker does the same thing, but still makes fine coffee! The physical structure of your particular coffee maker may just be such that it's fairly audible; some coffee makers are just noisier than others. I know this doesn't change the behavior of the machine, but you may be able to live with the noise a little more knowing these things. Take care!

Strong plastic odor in West Bend coffeemaker

oh yes. This must be a new machine. I would recommend pouring and draining boiling water in the maker several times. You can also use vinegar, but again it has to be rinsed and refilled and rinsed again with boiling hot water.

Krups FME2 will not flow water.

Hi,
Does it sound like it is boiling water at all?

If it is boiling, but not giving hot water, then the one-way valve is stuck.
If it is not getting hot (on the soleplate base) then usually the element has blown.

These machines use the steam generated by boiling as a means to move the water up - like a geyser, and need the heat to move the water.

Replacement elements are available, and the valves usually just require cleaning.

Use of warm water

Warm water is said to contain more impurities than cold water, like lead. Warm water takes more lead from your home plumbing, than cold water.

So it's not advised to use warm water for boiling...
