I own a Zone VI 4x5 Field Camera, in almost mint condition, except for one of the adjustment knobs/screws (left hand, that controls the rise) has sheared off. It seems to be made of brass. Is it possible to buy a replacement knob, or to have a new one made?
Would appreciate any help you can give!

Any decent amateur engineer or professional engineering workshop should be able to turn a functional replacement for you quite cheaply and certainly quicker than you could order a spare part.
If you want the knob to look totally original then you'll have to pay a little more, but from what I've seen (from photos on the Luminous Landscape forum) it's very easy to fabricate an identical one if you provide the broken parts (or better still an unbroken one from another part of the camera) as a pattern to work from.

Thank you for that prompt response. I think that I expressed myself badly though: I should have said that the knob itself is fine, it is the screw which fits in to it and that is attached to a slider that is broken. I think that the hard part will be finding a local tool & die place willing to take on such a small job! I was not aware of the Luminous Landscape forum either so will try and take a look there. Thanks!
