it could be defend on what place you are in this world. there are recommended oil for a particular place whether you use synthetic, semi-synthetis or a mineral(non-synthetic) oil. better to look the original owner's manual what oil is recommended on your place. and suggest the ff. 20-40 or 20-50 for hotter climat w/o freezing temperature 5-30 to 5-20 w/ hot/cold climate

engine wiring harness upper and lower could be degraded, coil could be bad, throttle positioner, fuel distributor could be bad and depending if its a half year car and you have an OVP that could be bad. Also after a full tune up have someone adjust the duty cycle.
try removing the belly plate ,sump guard or whatever else you want to call it but it does have one on the side of the sump and its recessed if i remember rightly with an allen key head
