It seems the problem is your Blu-Ray player can't connect to your wireless network. Based on what you said (and based on what the problem usually is), I'm guessing that you don't have the WPA (or WEP) key to your network. If you don't know it, you can log in to your router and look on the "security" or "wireless security" tab. It might be called "WEP key" or "WPA passkey" or "network password" or whatever. That is probably the code that the Blu-Ray player is looking for.

I could get more specific if you posted the make and model of your Blu-Ray player and router (or access point). If you also post the operating system (Windows XP or 7 or MacOS X or whatever) of a computer that is able to connect wirelessly, I can tell you how to get the WPA key off that computer.

Cannot wireless connect Samsung DVD Blue Ray to Net Flix

set the ip address to be detected automatically in the tv network settings.
What you need to know is the encryption key used on the Wi Fi
If you do not know it it might be on the case of the Wi Fi access point device.
Otherwise you will need to log into the router by typing the router's ip address into an internet browser on the working computer.

I need to know how to hoop up my wireless connection for Panasonic Blue Ray

you don't hook it up directly with the wireless internet connection, you hook it up with the machine you will be viewing it with (i assume it doesn't have a viewing screen). Hook it up with your tv or computer. Match color coded terminals.

I have been trying to connect my LG-P970 to the internet but no use because I need to enter proxy data and I can't find anything called proxy in the options

Hi,

Follow the below steps, you do'nt need to install any PC suite, driver nothing.
1.Connect your phone via data cable. Do NOT turn mass storage.
2.Go to Settings->Wireless & Networks->Mobile Networks->Enable Data enabled checkbox
3.Then Settings->Wireless & Networks->Tethering & portable hotspot->Enable USB tethering
Now you can browse without giving proxy or anything. It just works like a wired connection.

Thanks,
Mr.Maduraikaran.

I just signed up for netflix and am trying to hook it up to my wii to watch movies. The wii is properly connected and hooked up, and we have a wireless internet connection in my home, however when i go to...

Error code 51030 means you Wii is unable to connect to your wireless network.
Try unplugging your modem and wireless router, then plugging them back in after a couple minutes.
While you're waiting for your modem and router, delete your network setting from your Wii, and set them back up once your router and modem are back up.
Your wireless router's setting might have changed and your Wii might not be able to properly connect.

Does the blu-ray player have its own wireless router ? and if so, do I need to keep my wireless router from comcast to access the internet?

Your DVD player has a built in wireless card (just like a laptop would) You can use this to connect TO your wireless access point (router)

So, yes you will still need a wireless access point installed, so devices like a laptop/DVD player can connect to the internet.

I hope this helps,
Magoo

Use safari as it is mac. Go to connection/internet panel and set up connection with whatever connection you have. If comcast is giving you issues force them to make the connection work. Its part of your benifits.
