My Olevia 42" television is several years old. In March of 2012, the infamous "TV will not power on" problem started.

The blue LED light on the front of the TV would go off for a split second, then light up again. The television would not start.

If you are handy with small tools and a soldering iron, you can change the capacitors on the power supply. My Olevia is a model 542-B11.

I made the repairs in March 2012 and it is now August 2012 and the television is still working great. It is turned on and off several times every day.

It is neither. Your inverters do not control your picture color. All they do is power the back-lights. If your color is going out, odds are it is in your main board.

There should be at least 4 mounting holes (VESA mount), and they should be used.

any bracket that is made for a 32 in will work or what ever size TV you have only difference is if it tilts or moves in any way

you need the firmware flasher and the usb driver, I have both from a long time ago
