Try making a phone call on regular analog phone.
If you have an echo you should contact your carrier
If no echo contact the store that you bought the phone from and ask for replacement of deffective unit.

Echo in ear when talking

The echo is normally caused by the phone company, not the phone itself. Can you verify that another phone in your home is not having the same issue?

What is correct fuel mixture for Echo CS 6701 Chain saw?

"Echo Power Blend Universal 2-Stroke Oil can be used in all of our 2-cycle air-cooled equipment ever made. You may also use this oil in any other brand of 2-cycle air cooled equipment, but it should always be mixed at the 50:1 ratio whether or not it was a 32:1 or 16:1 etc. machine. This oil is the highest quality 2-cycle oil on the market today. There is no need to have more than 1 tank of fuel for your 2-cycle equipment any more."
The above excerpt is from the Echo FAQs (6) here:
http://www.echo-usa.com/faqs/

Oil Mix Ratio:
The following ratios have been recommended for the last 10-15 years.
Dolmar, Echo, Efco, Homelite, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Makita, Oleo-Mac, Red Max, Ryobi, Shindaiwa, Solo, Spear & Jackson, Stihl & Tanaka; all recommend 50:1.
1 gallon of premium fuel to 2.6 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.
4 liters of premium fuel to 80 milliliters of quality 2-cycle oil.
McCulloch, Poulan & Wen; recommend 40:1.
1 gallon of premium fuel to 3.2 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.
4 liters of premium fuel to 100 milliliters of quality 2-cycle oil.
Chinese chainsaws recommend 25:1.

Echo on my end when someone calls! Please help! Thanks!

it may be due to interference from electronics devices around you since its a cordless phone ,or your phone is not getting a complete connection, could be one cause,Please try these solutions when you experience echo sound :

- turn the volume down

- turn the "clarity booster" function on the phone

Follow these steps to turn on clarity booster

1) Press menu/del during talk time (while phone is in use).

2) Press ^/vol or vol/v to move the pointer to Clarity Boost, and then select Boost On and "B" appears on the display. To turn Off the Clarity Booster, repeat above step again. check the owners manual for a full description for your model of phone
*Please note: clarity booster turns off automatically at the end of each call.

- make sure the Echo Canceller Circuit (ECC) has been set properly

*The phone should have Echo Canceller Circuit (ECC) built in.

*This means the circuit will study the Voice Level & reduce/cut the echo automatically.

Follow these steps to set the ECC properly

1. Unplug the battery from the handset for a few seconds.

2. Re-plug the battery back into the handset.

3. Make a phone call & at the initial stage speak loudly into the mic. Please note: The ECC will learn at the initial stage only, so after these steps are followed, the ECC will start working properly.or
just a simple pwr cycle ( turning the phone off) can give you a fresh registratoin, this can improve the quality of the call. hope this helps pls do let me know

What do you recommend to stop phone echoing? I own an AT&T Dect 6.0 cordless. It echos no matter where you are in the house.

Echo is usually caused by the mouthpiece picking up sound from an overly loud earpiece.

if there is a way of turning the volume down try that, if not the only other possible thing to try would be to dampen the volume from the earpiece using a small piece of tape or similar.
