We have replaced our control panel PN 99003139, THREE times. Each time same thing happens. The lights and buttons gradually and intermittently go out. The dish washer will still run, so long as the start button is still working, but none of the lights work. So you just hope the cycle is the same as last time. This can't be a panel problem, but I am not sure how far down the line to look. We are ready for one last panel change and then we are looking for new dish washers.
Whirlpool parts come with a one year warranty WP owns Jenn Air take it back I have replaced this panel then had to go back and change again in 3 days it failed yes could be a bad batch of panels the panel is powered by the control is the control taking out the panel can't say it is a computer maybe sending to high a voltage to panel no way to test that

It might be that you had a power surge try unplugging the unit for a few minutes or trip the breaker.
