Make sure you enter it into the box associated with the magicJack that you have or will be adding International Prepaid Minutes to. You will receive an email with instructions and access code, 305-848-9999.
Dial the access code to start making International calls from the phone number you registered.
Please remember that you can only register one additional number per magicJack.
Note: In order to make International calls you need to purchase International Prepaid Minutes.

Depends on what kind of operating system your phone uses: For example, here's the app for an android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.magicjack&hl=en
Install that and log in, otherwise, look for one for the iPhone if that's what you use.

go to your app store. Click on "Search". It is at the bottom of the screen on the iPhone. Type in "magic jack" when the search box appears. Click on the blue search tab at the bottom of the screen. The MagicJack app will appear. All you do now is click 'download"

Hi,

When using the MagicJack are you using a phone handset that you know has a working microphone in the handset.

Test the phone in a normal phone plug.

If the phone works the you need to talk with support at MAgicJAck as your device might be faulty

If they cannot help take up the 30 day free return option and swap it for a new device.

I have no phone at all the magicjack plus is not working
Occasionally, my magic jack (MagicJack Plus) will stop working. I unplug it from the wall power outlet for a few seconds and then plug it back in. This usually resolves the problem right away.


If that doesn't correct the problem, I recommend calling MagicJack for a replacement unit.

Magicjack plus with login window won't go away"
When you plug your magicjack into a USB port, the app comes up, right? It remains active until you unplug your device. If the app remains after unplugging your Magicjack, there may be a setting that needs to be changed. Newer units allow for use of one's account without the device being plugged in I believe.
IF this is the case, and you cannot exit the app, click on the "apple" icon at the upper left of your MacBook's screen. Then choose "Force Quit". Your Magicjack app should be listed there. Simply follow the instructions there to kill the app.
Another option is to restart the computer. This should also clear the app from memory.

In order to receive calls, you must turn Notifications on for your magicJack APP.

  1. On your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, go to Settings, Notifications, and select magicJack APP
  2. Make sure that Alert Style is set to Notifications and Sounds are turned on
You can also shut down the magicJack APP by "double-clicking" the "Home" button on your device, tapping and holding down the magicJack APP icon, and then tapping the "X" icon in the top right corner of the magicJack APP icon.
Once the magicJack APP has been shut down, you can re-launch it by tapping the icon.
