I bought an apple iPad from yard sale It is locked & I don't know pass code .. How can I factory reset with no code .. Please help me asap ;) thank you ;)

  • Reset an iPad Never Synced with iTunes Step 1 Section 2 - Reset an iPad Never Synced with iTunes: Disconnect the iPad from the computer, but leave the USB cable connected to the computer.
    Step 2
    Hold down the "Sleep/Wake" button for several seconds until a red slider appears. Move your finger across the slider to turn the iPad off.
    Step 3
    Connect the iPad to the computer while holding down the "Home" button to turn on the iPad.
    Step 4
    Release the "Home" button when you see a message that says, "Connect to iTunes."
    Step 5
    Launch iTunes. iTunes will alert you that it detects a device in Recovery Mode.
    Step 6
    Click "OK" and click "Restore" to reset the iPad.

You need to plug it into a computer running iTunes.

iTunes will reset it to factory defaults.

Don't forget to plug in the power. And again, press home button and on / off switch, till it switches off. Then press the on / off button, till the Apple logo comes back, then release the button. It can take up to a minute, before the screen comes on.

Over ride reset
Hi there, the is no official supported way to unlock an iCloud locked device beside using the password or resetting it(via apple process), many 3rd part site boast about being able to do so however I do not have first hand knowledge that they are successful. I am so confident in the fact that you will not be able to remove the iCloud lock that I would be will to say "you can't" but anything is possible. You can sell the device for parts. Sorry I am not able to offer you more help.

How do i reset ipad without password
Hi Danielle,

To Hard Reset the iPad you are going to need to do the following:

Hold the home (Located at the front side at the bottom of touch screen), and lock button (Located directly on top of the iPad itself) at the same time for at least 10 seconds until the apple logo appears.

This will force the device to do a factory reset to default settings, as if you had just turned on the iPad for the very first time.

On my apple ipad mini model A1432 that I bought from a friend the passcode that I'm putting in is incorrect. How can I get a new passcode?
After you put in the wrong pass code 3 times, you only can unlock the iPad with the correct password, belonging to the Apple ID from what is only a part shown on the screen. If you don't have the passcode nor the password Apple assumes you are not the legal owner, and you can't use the iPad anymore. Just go back to your friend, ask him to unlock the screen, to wipe the content and reset the iPad to factory settings.
For that goto settings, general and scroll to the bottom line and press that. then the second line wipe everything. Again the login code is asked. but after that the iPad is empty.Your friend should also remove the iPad from his list of registered Apple equipment.

this is apple's lock, i will not want someone to open up my iPad if it is stolen, if not contact apple directly they will assist you after some checks, remember that the code can be reset if you know the apple id and password for that iPad.

Ipad disabled
Normally that means an incorrect pass code has been entered on the lock screen too many times. You can try connecting the iPad to a computer and doing a factory restore in iTunes.
