Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Positive and ground connections. Use a test light at your fuse box. Fuses 1 4 8 12 16 show to be hot all the time. check for voltage using the test light. If nothing, have to track voltage from positive battery post. Ground is very important as well.
You could have problem with ignition switch? The ignition switch is spring loaded from crank position?
check connection and wires at battery for damage or corrosion if good check for power to ignition switch if no power check for damaged or shorted wiring if good turn key and check if power going to relays or accessory's at fuse panel if no power switch may be bad

Almost always, your desribed problem indicates a blown main fuse. The main fuse holder is usually integrated with the starter motor relay. To locate this relay, follow the big cable from the battery's + terminal.
Others to check would be the battery cables and the harness / connector leading to the ignition switch.
