SOURCE: purchased a used earth stove mp240 pellet stove

The auger motor is fed through a high temp. limit thermostat. It has a manual reset on the back of it that you have to press on firmly to reset it. Open the side panel on the stove and find the wiring. You will see the thermostat on the back side of the combustion chamber. Look very closely and reset it.
good luck!

SOURCE: combustion fan isn't running

Ther is a guy names Murphy that it resposible for that. Go back through the steps you used to change the auger motor and see if maybe there was a wire left out or if the combustion motor is also out. What caused the outage? If a voltage spike, it could have taken them both out. The only other thing I can think of is a main switch somewhere. Good luck...Lee

My pellet stove won't contentiously feed pellets.

There are a few possible causes for this issue with your pellet stove. One possibility is that there is an issue with the auger feeding the pellets into the burn pot. The auger could be clogged, or the timing of the auger may need to be adjusted. Another possibility is that there is an issue with the airflow in the stove, which is preventing the fire from maintaining a consistent flame. The air intake or exhaust vents could be blocked, or the blower fan could be malfunctioning. Additionally, the control board of the stove could be malfunctioning, causing the auger and blower to cycle on and off erratically. It may be best to consult with a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue with your pellet stove.

We have a heilsa pellet stove model#QCPS-28000 ,its dropping pellets to fast ,how do I adjust the feed.

  1. SET THE AIR INLET DAMPERS
It is not possible for the manufacture to factory set your stove to work properly without some adjustments. The dampers help control the amount of airflow supplied for combustion.
A damper PUSHED IN all the way, maximizes concentrated air flow to the burn pot. This will maintain a robust fire.
The Auger timing is designed to be run, in most conditions, with the dampers closed.
In some areas/conditions, it mybe necessary to adjust the damper open slighty in order to slow down the flame and allow the pellets to keep pace with the rate of burn. This should be monitored closely to ensure you have the propoer feed rate established. If dampers are opened too much, the rate of burn will be very slow and the pellets will build up.
This setting needs to be fine tuned to according to your location and elevation. It is recommended that you start with the dampers pushed in to start.

Pinnacle Pellet stove augre gets stuck

hmm, could be low power to the motor, heavier power cord, or it's possible the auger needs new bushing/bearings, wiggle the auger to see if it has any play in it OR it's fussy about the size of pellets it made to feed. please send pictures and or results.

Pellets keep feeding. cant control temp.

Are you trying to grill or smoke? In ether case, once the pellets ignite and the temperature you want has been reached, the switch should be turned to off. That should stop the auger pellet feed.

Also, are you using Traeger Pellets. They are the only one designed for this grill/smoker. If you're using heating pellets for a pellet stove, that also would cause that problem

If you've lost your Owners Manual, here's a link to it in a downloadable and printable pdf format.

Hope this helps. Please let me know.
