Dear sirs , i have a epson stylus r230 photo printer,i am getting blank prints from my r230, its has new replaced print head, new data cables and i even tested labeled F1 and it is near the 3 tall blue capacitors on the main board which meter reads 1.8 ohms. I still gets blank pages. Please help solve my problem

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages,then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

I can't say for sure but it sounds like your print head is permanantly clogged. I avoid Epson because they have a permanent print head unlike Hewlet Packard HP printers. I think there is a solution kit you can buy that runs a solvent through the print heads to clean them out. Look for something like that as a replacement print head typically costs more than a new printer. Hope that helps, Take care.

pls download the latest drivers software version of the printer that you use... then after that reinstall the old drivers software that you install previously.

check print head and head cable .... if ink flow need main board and both items......... if not flow replace only main board

I think you are in a hardware problem. In this situation you may try to set up a seringe in to a pipe that are in the back side of the printer.to find the pipe follow the mentioned procedure
1. (in off line position)open the scrue that are situated back side of a printer
2. push the cover and
3.find the plastic pipe into the blank space
4.Then set a sering in to the pipe and try to out ink by presure. 5/6 time.
if your printer stil not print, the mother bord of the printer should damage . change the mother bord and it will work fine.

The printer does not print only dragging a paper without printing.

2. flex cable connecting the heads
3. main board


Most common that i found is to replaced the main board. or replace parts of other main board if you have some extra. hope it can help.

Print out empty? Normal run? replace print head? If no mistake installed print head, the problem at board, or may be just lost electricity.

try checking the pump assembly of the unit. if it is clogged, the printhead wont clean and theres a possiblility that you will not get a printout. also check the head cable to see if there are no cut traces.
