Older IR 2135Ti 1/2" impact gun - body of gun shakes like crazy with almost no power at output. I took it apart expecting a bad anvil but didn't see anything broken or any obvious signs of wear. Any suggestions?

Yeah, check your bearings in the nose and on the back end. check to see that the vanes are all good too. have you added any grease to the orings. sounds like some screw isn't tight causing the wobble and no power, well that sounds like a air flow issue. so if the air in is at least 90 psi and its coming out when you squeeze the trigger and only then. Its good trigger and it has to be the vanes are worn and motor housing dirty,

STUCK TRIGGER

The I.R. 2135Ti or TiMAX has some known issues with the trigger o-ring (item# 22A) swelling, the throttle valve (item# 28D) bending or breaking, and the throttle valve seal (item# 28E) wearing out or deteriorating. Procedure wise you should not be able to remove the trigger without first removing the inlet bushing assembly (item# 26) the reason is that the reverse valve (item# 24) keeps the throttle valve from tipping forward and releasing the trigger, there is a slot for the stem of the throttle valve to slide into.
Follow this link to the parts list:

When reassembling the tool first install the inlet bushing assembly and then install the trigger, make sure to lube the o-ring before inserting.

I have a IR 2130 Impactool 1/2 in drive I just got it used it seems to work ok but the torque seems to low I can hold it with my hand and it will not turn or take the lug nuts off the car is the torque...

This gun shouldnt have an adjustment. If you cfm's from your compressor are enough. Too low cfm's mean lower torque. If cfm is high enough for the gun rating then I would say the gun is bad.

IR 261 air wrench vanes sticking

NOT exactly a solution, but may help you with your problem: I'm also a Owner of a 261 ( In fact 90% 0f all my Air Tools are IR) that I used everyday when I was working on Terex Equipment & EMD Locomotives. I "Upgraded" the Major Parts inside my Gun to the "Industrial Line" rather than the Automotive Parts since the 261 is classified as a Automotive Tool..and Installing an Adjustable Regulator on the Gun Helped a Lot too...by "tweeking" my Gun out, I was Pumping almost as much torque as some of the 1" Guns...
FYI: Don't Over Oil as the Oil will absorb into the Vanes, causing them to Expand in thickness "Permanently"...just 2-3 drops of a Hi-Grade Air Tool Oil before starting the Day is enough...sounds to me like your Picking up some contamination someplace??
