SOURCE: Good Morning. I was given

Following are the instructions for the RP5610 which looks very similar to the 4801A (that I also have). The only difference in the instructions is that the 4801A doesn't have a clock icon, just press the SET button until the center colon dots are flashing, Press the rewind or fast forward arrows on the circle next to it to set the time. Set the alarms by pressing the set button until bell 1 or 2 is displayed. Nap is also set with the set button - not sure how to stop it yet.

To set the clock:

  1. Press the SET button until the clock icon is displayed (circle with hands at 10 and 2)
  2. Press |<< REV or >>| FWD to set the time.
  3. AM or PM icon will show besides the time.

SOURCE: FM/AM GE Digital clock radio model#7-4966 display bulb burned out

Geri, I recently had the same problem with my GE model 7-4966 clock radio. The radio manual states that there is a spare bulb included and stored on the underside of the battery compartment door on the bottom of the clock radio. To replace the bulb: 1. Twist the bulb bar handle on the underside of the radio to unlock and remove the holder. 2. Carefully pull the bulb out of the holder and replace with the spare bulb. 3. Place the holder back in place, twist the bar handle to the right to "lock" the bulb holder in position.
In case you can't find a spare bulb, the manual states "use only a GE259 or equivalent 6.3 volt, wedge base bulb. A clerk at Radio Shack told me she could get a replacement bulb.

On TEAK Alarm clock radio USB charging I want to make it wake me up with radio music not buzzer. How do I fix that

Can you comment with the model number? It will be on the information sticker on the radio itself. It will possibly start with 'CRX-'.
Try this - Press and hold the alarm set button until the display flashes like your setting the alarm time. Click the same button again and it should swap between buzzer and radio each time you click it. It will probably show some sort of logo on the display telling you which it is set to.

How do I set the alarm on this model, which I cannot find any where. Grateful & puzzled. Model 7-4806A GE Clock Radio

SETTING THE WAKE TIME You can select two different wake times for music or alarm to turn on automatically. WAKE 1 and 2 controls are located on top of the unit behind the SNOOZE bar.

1. Slide switch to SET position. The display will change to wake time.
2. Use the FAST FORWARD, FORWARD and REVERSE buttons as needed until you reach your desired AM or PM wake time. For music, select an AM or FM station and then turn the radio off. Set wake time and then slide the switch to MUSIC. For Alarm, set wake time and then slide switch to ALARM position. If a wake time is set, an indicator in the display lights and the unit turns on in the chosen mode (alarm or music) at the set time for approximately one hour. To turn off the wake mode, slide the switch to OFF or press the OFF button. NOTE: If both Wake 1 and Wake 2 controls are in the SET position, the time of day is displayed. GE 7 4825 User Manual

I need a manual on how to set the time and alarms on fm/am cd clock radio model # rp 5600a

To set the time, press Set (furthest left button in the line including the Snooze) repeatedly until the clock icon shows on the display. Then press the FWD or REV buttons (on either side of the Snooze button) until you reach the current time. Press and hold to advance the time more rapidly. Press Set to save the time.

To set the alarm, press Set until Wake 1 or Wake 2 is shown on the display. Then follow the same directions as changing the time. Press WK1 or WK2 on the front of the clock to select the type of alarm.

The manual for the RCA RP5600 is available on the product page: http://www.rcaaudiovideo.com/audio/clockradios/?sku=RP5600 . See the Support/Manuals tab. The direct link to the manual is http://audiovox2.info/docs/common/RP5600/RP5600_OM.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I have model #7-4837B AM/FM radio alarm clock. User manual has been misplaced and I am unable to disable the alarm.

On the top of the alarm clock is a CANCEL button. Press the button and the light next to the WAKE MODE indicator on the front of the clock will begin to flash. Press the WAKE MODE button on the top of the clock. The WAKE MODE indicator will go out and the alarm is off. If you want the alarm back on just press the WAKE MODE button again.

GE doesn't make this kind of product any longer but
on their site they say to call 1-800-447-1700 for assistance. Maybe someone there can find a copy of the instructions for you.
