Last night it auto did some update or something and then restarted itself and all it did was go to the android screen and it was still on that screen 5 hours later. I called the number on the manual for it and they said to go into the boot set up and do a factory reset and which I did. I called them back after it was on the android screen doing nothing for over 2 hours and they advised me to hold down the power button until it went off and then power it back on which I did and I was then able to set everything up again. All was working great and then I left and when I came home it was off again and wouldn't do anything except get to the android screen again so I tried to reset it again cause they told me to and now for almost 4 hours it has been sitting on the android screen with the little circle spinning around and the same green lines flashing on the screen off and on. Can anyone tell me how long this process is suppose to take? I don't want to hold the power button down because I think that might not be the right thing to do.
The reset process can take some time, but usually no longer then an hour MAX.
Sounds like this device may be defective with all the issues you have been having. Contact the number and ask for a replacement or refund.
Have you tried taking the battery out? That solves a lot of problems.

Charge it overnight and try again give it 24hrsif it don't work drain the battery until it resets it self then charge it 24+rs
