Aligned carousel changed all cartridges and drum CLEANING CYCLE
There are two ways to print black (grayscale) only. One is through the printer access provided through HP software. The other is through the Windows printer software. Try accessing through MS, such as printing from office or paint and see what the printer options show. Then try it again through another program, such as PDF Adobe, or another program that brings up the HP printer software. Another option is going through the device/printers option in control panel. Have you tried replacing the cartridges all together? That worked for me. I use HP 96 and 97 cartridges.

Press Menu button. Then press the <Left> scroll button and <Cancel> button simultaneously. This will take you to the secondory service menu. Press the menu button and select secondary service. Scroll through the menu item and you will see <Clean belt> option. Select it and press select again. This will clean the belt for you. Do it may be two or three times. This will solve your problem.
