How can I fix user login failed problem

You can try using the built in [hidden] Administrator account. first boot into safe mode then activate the Administrator account as shown here Windows 7 Built in Administrator Account Enable or Disable or here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/3040.enable-disable-the-local-hidden-built-in-administrator-account-in-windows-7.aspx. log into that account then go to control panel - user accounts and find your account and change your password then log out and try logging into your account with the new password.

When I try to log on I get a message that says, The User Profile Service service failed to log on. It also says , Profile can not be loaded. How do i fix this

Sounds like your getting logged into a temporary profile. To fix this do the following
  • Click the Window Button
  • type regedit and press enter
  • Navigate to HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Profile Lists"
  • Click on each folder that starts out "S-" and look at the value for "ProfileImagePath" that has your username in it.
  • Once you have found your SID, on the left side right click your SID(S-...) and add a .bak to it
  • Exit regedit and reboot the computer and try and log in
  • This should recreate your SID for your user
If this is not the issue or you need further help please comment back.

Hmmm there could be a problem with the operating system itself. You can insert the disks the computer came with, and boot up to it. then when it comes to your install menu, select repair instead of new install.

Hope this helps
