Disable the blue "No signal" screen from showing up?

I have software that records and can split files based on when signal gets lost. However, since the camera shows a blue "No Signal" screen at the end, I can end up with an hour or more or video that's just a silent blue recording. Is there any way to disable that so that recording just stops at the end of the tape? Note this is not a VCR device, so IR codes won't work and the EZ Dub functions don't do it either.

There is no Blue screen disable option on the camera.
Since the blue screen caused by the video heads, try to clean it up by running a cleaning cassette.
The cleaning cassette helps only for minor clogs of the Drum(video heads)

The blue screen is actually a generated signal triggered when no signal is detected. Dirty pickups can cause a degradation of the signal received from the tape significant enough to cause this to happen, but in this case I'm talking about the no signal created by not playing anything at all.

I keep getting a blue screen on my Insignia TV. Cable box still shows the channel and I can change channels but nothing on screen. No sound either. This TV is not even 3 years old yet.

A blue screen indicates no video signal, if you change the video input to a DVD player is it still a blue screen? If yes then the TV is defective. If no then some how the signal is being lost to the TV from whatever source you use for watching broadcast TV

How to restore audio files from formated Olympus digital recorder

You should stop recording new ones to prevent the old ones from being overwritten. If your digital recorder has a memory card, take it out and insert it to your computer with a card reader. If the device has built-in memory, just connect it to your PC directly. On your computer, you need a video/audio recovery program. Fine one, install and run it. The software will help you scan lost audio files from your recorder, then it'll show you what it's found. Choose the files you want and hit the "Recover" button to start recovery process.

If you're a Mac user, please feel free to try this Mac based video/audio recovery app. http://www.leawo.org/photo-recovery-mac/

Am running a trial of Easy Splitter on Windows XP .. have a WMV file that needs splitting .. but I keep getting Blue Screen .. I was able to define a split yesterday .. but today nothing but Blue Screen

Hello there, There isnt much advice that we can give you without the information from the dump files created in the Blue screen. This is a program that will tell you exactly what went wrong with your computer. Maybe you can do some research with this new information. http://nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
Make sure that all your drivers are up to date especially your graphics card. If youre still getting blue screens, try a different program such as windows movie maker.
I hope that helps. Thumbs up are appreciated!

I have a dv6000 laptop HP. I turn the power on. It bring to my password page. I enter my passoword. Desk top show up and then all the sudden a blue screen shows up with alot of numbers and letters for...

Hello,

This is usualy called "BDOD" as in "Blue Screen Of Death", more exactly a blue screen containing some error codes, some description of what was going on when it ocurred and a restart signal. You can't see the blue screen for more then a split second because by default the computer is set to restart automaticaly when these errors occur.
Mostly these errors appear as a result of a software modification that alters how windows executes a certain system file. It's actually hard to figure out what does the error means as long as you can't see it. However you could try running an older version of the windows core system registry by System Restore, if you have it enabled (it's on by default). By this we hope to restore the registry to a state prior to this problem.

You can do this by pressing F8 key when the computer is booting up, just before the windows logo appears (or that green bar in vista). When pressed at the right time, this key will bring up a menu on wich you would need to select "most recent settings that worked" or similar - depending on your windows version.

This will instruct windows to load some older registry configuration, one that worked in the past. If you still receive the same error, you could try booting in Safe Mode (again, press F8 but this time select "safe mode") and try unninstalling recent installed aplication, because maybe one of them is causing your problem.

If these steps woun't work, the only clean way to solve the problem would be to reinstall Windows along with your other software programs.

Hope these tips help.

T30 always comes up with record-ready display screen

T30 defaults to an opening display screen based on where you were when you last used the device. When leaving from the record folder and record mode, you will always open with the record-ready screen. If you left your T30 while in the music folder playing a music file, you will be returned to that.

This record-ready display screen has a numeric and bar time line. The numeric values of the line are in hrs:min:seconds. This line is also split: the right half of the line indicates the total amount of available recording time, while the left half indicates your time as you record. If you compare the values of the right and left sides of the numeric bar while you are recording, you will see that the right side is diminishing as the left side increases in numeric value. When you complete your recording and save your track, the right side will now indicate the new total time (the amount your screen first displayed LESS the time value of the track just recorded).

When you are playing a music file, if you watch the time display, you will see the numeric information changing in the same way. The left side indicates how may hrs:min:seconds your track has played while the right side indicates the total time value for that file and will be correspondingly decreasing while you play your music file.

So in the short, you don't need to worry much about your display screen unless you open in the wrong folder or you need more recording time than is available. Then it has a message for you.
