Hello i have an pm8m-v motherboard brand new when i push start buttom it fires for half a sec then stops and flashes on and off with the power led u cant reset it with the reset buttom,if u unplug then wait 5 sec to start up again does exactly the same.have removed all hardware from machice and started it with just a external fan connected does the same .can u please help me thankyou

you don't need to find out manual for jumper setting any where if you see the mother board very closely near which Jumper want to setup you can see the printed jumper setting on mother board only,
The most likely solution is to replace any Capacitors that have blown in the onboard power circuit. Look for a Capacitor that has got a very bulging top in the region of the power connector.
You have probably connected the +12 volt 4 pin, connector wrong. The pci-e graphic connector, sometimes fit here. When this happends the mainboard will not boot up. Try to read the manual for the power supply.
