You can use webmail to access the email if you cannot remotely access your office computer from home. Use logmein, GoToMyPC or some other remote access program. Using POP will only allow you to pull mail once, but if you use Outlook you can configure it to leave a copy of messages on the server.
If you have the IMAP option, if can sync all of you devices. Best of luck!

If it is allowed, you setup an email account on a company computer, you just setup a mail account like on the home computer. Then you can login from your job. Be aware STMP servers only deliver mail once. So if you fetch the mail on your company, you can't read it at home.
Gmail and Yahoo accounts, can be setup in any browser. They keep the mail on the server and you can read the mail from every computer, where you open the account.

I can send emails to my office pc but cannot receive from them

If you are using Outlook Express at home and your office uses a full version of Outlook, it will have some communication features not available to Outlook Express.
There should be no problems sending standard emails though, as long as your office computer has internet access.
