you need to look in owners manual for the radio code. if its not there you need to go to dealer with vin and ask for code. its a safty feature so people wont steal your radio but its more of a headache.

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing. (Note ...not beginning with CL.)
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio

Try asking here as the Suzuki radio can be awkward to decode

Unfortunately your CDR500 is made by VDO/ DELCO and these  codes are not obtainable for free (using the Serial Number) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database which is only available to the Main Dealer or one the larger professional Decode Services.
The alternative is for your radio to be taken/posted to a Decode Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Unfortunately the Ford V Serial Number codes are only available from the Ford Main Dealer.....................or a Decode Service who will plug your radio into a laptop and read/recode the memory chip
