Had one just like i t with same problem. I used a blu-tooth earpiece till i found resolve. Its your speakers that are bad. I know it sounds out there, literally, as everything else works, even speaker phone. I took mine in to a cell phone shop and they replaced speakers and it cost me 50.00 to fix it. Well worth the money!Hope this helps!
You can download OI File manager and go to the /Ringtones folder and delete the ringtones, or you can manually plug the phone to your computer via USB and navigate to the /Ringtones folder and delete them there.
I just had this problem - and I have been messing with it for an hour.... but I finally fixed it - Try this - touch the speaker symbol on top (The system status window should pop-up) then touch the speaker symbol again (Now you should have two tabs - one for system and one for ring) Touch ring and slide it up. This worked for me.
All of a sudden, while on a phone call using my g1, the in-call sound stopped working and now only works when on speaker. Can someone please help me with this?
