When I want to shut off the engine it seen like it want to keep turning 1955 Chevy belair 235 engine

You need more lead in your fuel ! that's probably because it`s an old car it ran on much richer fuel than the unleaded that we have today ! if you want ....,turn the key off while its in drive , and it'll go right off , and then put it in park.... that way you'll save the clang and you can also purchase trick fuel ! i have a 64 Dodge Dart , i had same problem at one time . Phillip 76 stations carry trick fuel.

How do l adjust the door on a 1955 chevy belair 2 door hard top

make sure pins are in good shape not sloppy but tight --then will need to loosen bolts and move door in out and back and forth till lines and gap are lined up you may also need to add or remove shims

Why does my 1955 235 engine won't start. no spark?

I would replace the condenser first, that's the small metal can that is connected to the points and make sure that the contacts in the distributor & points aren't burnt up and that the rotor is still good. These can all be touched up with emery cloth if they are carbon fouled. Good Luck, I hope that helps.

I have a 1955 chevy belair, 350 engine and 4 speed tranny...the tranny code is GM34 with the #'s 3925856. What typr tranny is it?...saginaw? muncey?

first remove the fuse ,and then the wiring ,the cig lighter itself should be in two pieces and threaded together.
