They should be able to provide you with specific instructions or troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the issue.

Tuchscreen not working

1.Windows key + Q.
2.Type Control Panel.
3.Go to Hardware and Sound.
4.Pen and touch.
5.Click the touch tab.
6.Enable use your finger as an input.

For more advanced users :

  1. First, go to the device the manager by opening the "Charm Menu" and search for "Device Manager." If you don't see it, change the search filter to "Settings."
  2. Once in the Device Manager, expand "Tab." Then find "Human Interface Devices" and expand it.
  3. You should see several "HID-compliant device" listings. Some PCs will call it an HID-Compliant Touch Screen, but yours may vary-if you don't have a touch screen option, you may have to try each HID Compliant ____ until one works. When asked if you want to disable the device, select "yes." That's it! The touch screen on your Windows 8 device should be disabled.
  4. Click link below for image if you are still having trouble.

We're is the LCD located in my phone

One of the iPhone's greatest features is its highly intuitive touch screen.
Unlike other electronic device touch screens, your iPhone doesn't operate using the blockage of light to decipher which keys and commands you're pressing.
This makes it a viable choice for cell phone users who may not be able to complete other types of commands.
While you cannot alter the sensitivity of your iPhone, you can toggle certain features that make your phone easier to use.
How It Works

The key to understanding the sensitivity level of your iPhone's touch screen is first understanding how the touch screen actually works.
Instead of detecting light blockages or heat to interpret your finger's movements, the iPhone actually has a grid that lies underneath the surface of the touch screen.
When your finger touches the screen, electrical impulses detect the area on the grid that you're touching to interpret the letter, command or motion you're making to issue the correct response.
Screen Sensitivity
While previous models of the iPhone did offer the ability to change the screen sensitivity and the speed by which your phone responds to commands, the iPhones 4 and 4S no longer offer the option.
Instead, the touch sensitivity on newer phones is automatically calibrated for the fastest speeds, which means your phone responds quickly to your touch.
If this frustrates you and results in commands and calls you didn't mean to make, locking the screen by pressing the button on the top right-hand rim of the phone helps stop unwanted commands.
Assistive Touch
Update iPhones running on iOS 5 with an option known as "AssistiveTouch," which allows users who may not have complete control over their bodies and motions to use the iPhone.
This program allows you to change the speed at which the phone responds to your touch.
By tapping the "General" icon, then touching "Accessibility" and "AssistiveTouch," you'll enter the assistive touch menu.
When you turn on the option, an overlay appears on the screen that allows you to give commands by touch, rather than by shaking, swiping or pinching the screen.

When setting up AssistiveTouch, you'll have the opportunity to select your command tracking speed, which deals with how sensitive your iPhone is to your various gestures and custom commands.
Case Issues
Your touch screen isn't the only place where your phone is sensitive to movements.
Your iPhone has a feature called a proximity sensor.
The role of the proximity sensor is to sense the closeness of your face during a phone call. When the phone senses that your face is close to the phone, it locks your screen to prevent you from accidentally activating the touch screen with your cheek or ear.
This is handy, except when the proximity sensor is partially obscured by a case and is no longer sensitive to the position of your face.
The proximity sensor is found on the upper right-hand corner of your screen, so ensure that it remains uncovered to preserve its sensitivity.

Cursor jumps

this is common and is caused generally by two fingers touching the little touchpad, if your navigating with one finger as we all do on the touchpad and another finger touches it the cursor will junp to the position of the second touch. most people dont realise they are doing it but these things are so sensitive that it pick up the slightest touch. if this isnt the problem the go to the control panel and select device manager then click on touchpad or input device and then go the properties and update the driver. ok i hope that helps. let me know how you go.

My HP TX2050 pen works but the pen is not touching the screen.

you're probably resting your hand while you're writing...
this happend to me when i attempted to draw/write/what have you.
the computer can't differentiate between the pen tip and your hand, so what you need to do is disable your finger as a pointing device:
1) go to control panel
2) click on the mobile pc
3) go to pen and input devices
4) you should see a TOUCH tab. click on it.
5) uncheck the box that says "Use your finger as an input device."

This should help. obviously, you lose the capability to use your finger, and the whole idea of touchscreen in general, but you can always enable this after drawing or taking notes.

Hope this helps.
peace.

Screen touch is not functioning

A general fault is that the touch screen or its control devices has failed. In some cases, the ribbon cables or the pressure contacts between the screen and its controler are not making good contact.

If there is an electrical fault, the fix is to replace the touch screen, and its controler. In many of these types of phones everything is on the main circuit board. The general fix is to replace the main circuit board, or to replace the screen assembly.

The main cause of failure for these devices is dropping the phone, or getting it wet.
