Camera is not working

How to Fix the iOS 11 Camera Not Working

1. Close the Camera App completely.

If you find problems with the iOS 11 camera app during usage, close the app from the App Switcher and then open it again.
For most iPhone models that have a Home button, to completely close the camera app, double tap the Home button to bring out the App Switcher, and then swipe the Camera app up to close it completely.
For iPhone X users, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the center of the screen to open the App Switcher, and the press and hold the Camera app until there's a Close button on the app, then you can tap on the button or swipe up to completely shut down the camera.

2. Restart your iPhone.

Sometimes small issues like app crashes could be fixed by simply rebooting your iPhone. It's a common solution for a lot of bugs and errors on iPhone and a lot of other electronic products. So when you find an iOS 11 camera bug, instead of getting frustrated, try restarting your iPhone first and see if it gets back to normal.
Press and hold the Power button on your iPhone until the Slide to Power Off bar appear. Slide to turn off your iPhone and then press the Power button again after it's been completely shut down to turn it back on.
To turn off iPhone X, press and hold the Side button and one of the Volume buttons at the same time. And then the Slide to Power Off bar would appear.

3. Reset iPhone Settings

If restarting your iPhone doesn't work, try resetting all the settings on your iPhone. It will only reset the system settings and won't damage your person data like photos and messages.
Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap on Reset All Settings.

4. Check for new iOS Updates

Usually if there's a bug in the old version, Apple would have the bug fixed in the latest update. So check and see if there's any update available and update immediately when you can.
Go to Settings>General>Software Update to check for the latest update.

5. Check if you have run out of storage space

One possible reason why you can't take a picture with your camera is that you may have used up your storage space and there's none left for more photos. Go check and see if that's the reason.
Go to Settings>About>Available and see how much space is left on your iPhone.

My phone is freezing offend. Some of my apps won't open even when I take them off and put them back in my phone. Also my new apps are downloading really slowly. I have a 3gs by the way

I used to have an iPhone and my phone froze once before and i couldn't turn it off at all, so my friend showed me a little trick.

If your phone freezes again and cannot turn it off by just the power button, then click the power and home button at the same time.

Then, once you turn it back on, it should be back to normal.

With the apps, if you don't already do this, you need to update them regularly. You can find it in the appstore and it automatically update your apps. It also depends on how big the actual app is. Ex: If you have a 15.3 or 16.3 MB app, then it will be slow 'cause it's bigger than let's say a 5.7 KB app.

If all of your apps are in KB, then it should be working fine.

Awesome Note won't open

I'm having the same problem as well. App worked fine yesterday, but this morning it wouldn't load at all. I really hope something is done to fix it soon. I also tried restarting my phone with no luck.. I don't want to try reinstalling either unless I absolutely have to.

My iphone message app is not opening

Try doing a reset of it and seeing if that helps.

Hold down the home button (bottom middle) and the Power/Sleep button (top right).

Hold them down till you see the power off slider, then keep holding. The screen with go black, then a second or 2 later the Apple logo will appear.

Then let the phone sit till it restarts. Everything should work after that. If not. Come on back and we'll get ya fixed up.

Thank you

My iphone's scree doesn't work anymore, even the

Try a reset. Hold down the power key at the same time as the round home key until
phone powers down. Release buttons only when you see the apple logo,
then wait a min or two for phone to re-boot. You will not lose any data on the phone.

If this does not work, try an actual system reset. Sync iPhone to computer to back
up essential data ie contacts apps etc, then go to settings general and reset. Reset
all settings as a last resort. This will give you a fresh start and should sort out
the majority of any bugs the phone has. A resync with you computer will restore apps etc.

Hope this helps and if so please vote.

iPhone Troubleshooting: How to Restart, quit frozen apps and Reset iPhoneby David Chartier on Jul 18th 2007 at 9:00AM
iphone_225.jpgI'm starting to think there is some sort of bad luck attached to my iTunes Store account, as tonight I experienced the third iTunes Store song that completely locked up an iPod - only this time it was my iPhone. While listening to 'Again with the Subtleties' from the Yppah album You Are Beautiful At All Times (US iTunes link) in my iPhone's iPod app, the phone completely locked up at the end of the track with an almost-faded out display. What was worse, the iPhone became completely unresponsive - the display wouldn't accept any of my taps, and even the external buttons were ignored. Momentarily wishing I could simply yank the battery to cut the power and reset the phone, I realized Apple must have some sort of a contingency in place for lock-ups like these.

Fortunately, I was right: The iPhone troubleshooting section of Apple's main iPhone support site contains a walkthrough for situations like this, complete with instructions on how to restart the phone, force quit a frozen app or reset the phone in cases like mine where it has completely locked up. Here are these steps in a nutshell:
  • Restart your iPhone: Most people probably already know how to do this, but just in case, you can simply hold the sleep/wake button on the top for a few seconds to bring up a red slider at the top of the display which allows you to power off the phone.
  • Quit a frozen iPhone app: I know it's a crazy thought, but it is entirely possible that Apple's wondrous iPhone apps can lock up from time to time. In this case, simply hold the Home button when in the app for about 6 seconds to kill the app. You should be able to jump back into the app without restarting the phone itself.
  • Reset your iPhone: Note that this is not Restoring your iPhone; that's the button in iTunes that wipes the iPhone and all your information on it. Resetting an iPhone is nothing more than a hard reset or a forced reboot - you're simply cutting the power and making it reboot. To do this, hold the sleep/wake button and Home buttons simultaneously for a few seconds; the display will quickly wipe itself and you should see the black background and white Apple logo, signifying a reset well done.
Fortunately, that reset fixed my problem and I'm jamming again with my iPhone as I write this. Still, you can be sure that I'll ping iTunes support to find out what's going on with these files, as this is the third one I've downloaded from the iTS that's caused an iPod to stop dead in its tracks. Anyone else experience something like this? You know where to sound off.
