Taking it a part to see if it is pluged
Hi Scott Brown: Typically an error code E38 could mean a few things:
· First see if the air trap is clogged. If it is, that is probably the most likely issue.
· If it is not clogged, it could either be the main control board, the water valve assembly or the pressure sensor switch.
· To make sure it is not a false error code, reset the power to the appliance by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about 30 seconds.
If the error code continues to display, I would strongly recommend contacting a professional to make the necessary repairs. Unfortunately, most electronic parts cannot be returned so it is always a good idea to get the appropriate diagnosis prior to making any unnecessary part replacements.
