SOURCE: I changed batteriers and now I can't get a reading

I believe they ask you to press the reset button on the main unit first, but that may not be your problem. Double check the batteries to make sure they are installed correctly. If one of the batteries in the outdoor sending unit is in backwards, it will not send the outdoor data. On the indoor unit, there is typically one battery that is used for receiving the signal from the outdoor unit. If all of the batteries are in correctly but that one, you will see the display and the indoor temperature information, but the outdoor information will not be displayed. Also, make sure the units are close enough to transmit.

MY FIJITSU inverter is not working correctly, the timer light is flashing continuously and the timer lights flashes 5 times can anyone help pleawe

fujitsu is a good brand.
try one of these two things:

Turn the unit off then on again. After that press test button on remote control (rear side) and look how many times now operation and timer LED flashes. Note that. Then press MANUAL/AUTO button on indoor unit until you hear 3 beeps from buzzer. That will erase error memory.
Switch off and than on unit and see if indication repeat or it is gone. If it is gone, keep using your unit.
If it is repeated post your notes here.

OR+++++++++++++++++++++FOR OTHER MODELS

5 x Operation flash and a constant Timer flash indicates an outdoor unit control error. With this code flashing on the indoor unit, you need to point the remote at the unit and push the test run button. The flash pattern will change to a continuously flashing Operation light and a number of flashes of the timer light which gives more detail on what the error is.

To get the unit to try to restart you need to push and hold the manual/auto button on the indoor unit for a few seconds then reset the mains power supply but leave it off for a minute or so for the unit to power down completely. If you are going to try this make sure you make a note of any error codes first if you have to get someone out to look at it, it will help them a lot.

Reset oregon scientific weather station

Hi,
I always have trouble getting mine to work after changing the batteries, but I have just managed to get it going by doing the following:
taking batteries out of main unit
putting new battery in remote unit and pressing remote unit reset button
re-inserting batteries in main unit and pressing reset button.

i think the trick is to ensure that the batteries go in the remote unit first, then the main unit after that. It has taken me days to work this out!

Moved to a place with a 139.53975SRT1 Garage Door and Keyless Entry. Keyless entry stopped working and I cant get code to operate door. All remotes stopped working. Reset codes with Learn button,...

Try this method for programming. Press and hold the button down on the remote while you press and immediately release the learn button. Do this for each remote.

Have you replaced the battery in the keypad? Try this:

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

Post back with your results.

I have a Sharp SPC502 atmoic clock/weather station. No matter what I do I cannot get the outside temp/humidy to show up on the main station. Have tried changing channels, different alignments,...

Try pushing the reset button on the inside of the battery compartment of the remote unit then push the reset button on the back of the main unit (you'll need a paperclip or tooth pick to push the buttons). If that fails I'd start from scratch by removing the batteries from both the remote unit and the main unit then replace the batteries to the remote unit first and push reset, then replace the batteries to the main unit and if necessary push the reset button on the main unit too. Hope this helps.

I have lost my manual for Nexxtech thermometer model6312030. I can't get it to read the outside temperature after I changed the batteries. How do I reset to make it read. Or better yet, how can I get a...

You must reset the outside unit every time you change a battery. To rest insert a paperclip into the small whole marked "reset". Temperatures should now appear on the inside or remote unit.

Rf tech 433 mhz

I had the same problem and finally found my manual. Here's what to do, everyone!

1. Take back panel off the sending unit, where the three batteries are, by unscrewing the 4 phillips head screws (assuming you, like I, had put the screws back in after installing new batteries). You will see a little gray button in a hole above where the batteries are; the little button is one you can push down with the same phillips screwdriver you took the 4 screws out with - don't do this yet.

2. Now, hold down the "channel" button on front of receiver panel for 2 sec, until the dash in the "ch" box and the place where the temp is supposed to be starts blinking.

3. Now, while these indicia are blinking on the panel, push the little gray button down and hold it for 2 seconds. This causes the transmitter to "register" with the receiver. You should now see a 1 in the "ch" box and get a temp reading.

4. Put screws back on, put receiver where you want it, proceed with rest of your life.

DVD recorder DMR EZ27EB

The remote control code is wrong. Change to the correct code. The batteries are depleted. Replace them with new ones. Point the remote control at the remote control sensor on the main unit. Remove obstacles between the remote ccontrol and the main unit. Remove dust from the transmission window and the unit's sensor. Colored glass may obstruct the signal reception/transmission. Don't place the signal sensor in direct sunlight or in areas that be subject to sun exposure. It may be necessary to set the code on the remote control again after changing the batteries. It may be necessary to set the manufacture code again after changing the batteries.
I hope this info can be of some help to you. Ms Tanya 2/12/08 4:02AM CST.
