You may try resetting the router settings by pressing the reset button of the router at the back of the router, there is a hole at the back of the router, you need to have a paper clip or any ball point pen to press the reset button of the router. The catch in here is all the settings of the router will set back to factory default so if you will be resetting the router allo the settings you have configured and set on the router will be set back to the default settings so you might alos loose your Internet connection.
Default settings on the router's log in - nothing for username and password is admin. Username as in blank and don't put anything into it.

Could we get a few more details on this? Like what make/model. Many routers can be factory defaulted and then it would only be necessary to know the default username/password. Then just configure it back up again as needed.
