Disconnecting power and pressing cancel
Thank you for your post, Cathie Sanchez!
I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher is displaying error code "S" and will not restart. The error code "S" usually stands for sanitize, this could also be a miscommunication within the control panel. I would recommend performing a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by disconnecting power from your dishwasher for roughly ten minutes. If you continue to experience issues with the error code I would suggest having a professional technician out for proper diagnosis and repair. Hope this is helpful. -Matt

Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. To resolve this you will have to
reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in
sequence...
-high temp wash
-heated
dry
-high

If still it wont work then you’ll have to replace
the control. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a
comment for further assistance.
Thanks

The door switch is probably bad. Remove the door switch and test it with a meter set for ohms. No reading is a bad switch.

rlindaur179,There are a couple possible issues. We will start with the easy ones first.
1. There is a round shape float on the inside floor of the dishwasher. On this mode I believe it is in the front left. please check to see this float moves easily up and down. If there is any build up it could getting stuck in the upright position this can cause a reset in the cycle. Clean the float shaft. Lift float and clean shaft (steel wool works well)2. Replace control board
Hope this helpsJoe Connolly
