How do I fix a stuck button on a Tag Heuer Kirium F1 watch? I have to submerge the watch in warm water for a few seconds before it will depress. I have (supposedly) had this repaired by TAG twi

My previous Kirium F1 had this problem as well.. got it fixed by my watchmaker for a nominal fee (<USD40). Apparently, the push connector needed to be repaired. After the repair, it was "clicking" again and worked fine. However, the watchmaker did warn against pushing the buttons too hard. This is apparently a common problem for this model.

Is the digital display blinking? If it is, it would mean that the battery is weak and thus, the backlight won't work.

Have you a copy of the manual?

If you have, then you will see that it can be turned off (last page), is this likely to be the case?

If you need a copy, go to their web site "tagheuer.com", select "watches", then "tag heuer formula 1", then "man", followed by "Tag Heuer F1 chronometer" and finally you will see on the right a menu, select "user manual".

This seems to be a generic manual that cover both the chronometer and alarm version of the watch.

If these are not the correct instructions for your watch, opposite the "user manual" menu is a search box, put your watch model in this and there should be a user manual with it.

If not look at a similar watch for a generic manual.

On the right hand side of the screen you will a menu and the user manual is the last iten on the list.

Put off all digital disply - pull out middle winder.

Do not think so. But try another battery and see what the result is - you might get lucky. If it continues to do the same you will have to accept the obvious - something is bogus with the unit.
