I tried to upload my picture from my computer I use on FB..or Pinterest..But an iota came up..Certainly not my picture from my computer. I also am a woman so having me on a Man's avatar is weird & I am knowledgeable in different areas..But I'd like to fix the above first..

To edit your Fixya Profile simply click your name on the top right side > My Account and choose "My settings" Tab.
You can change your Avatar, email address Password, Full name and manage your alerts and emails from Fixya.

At the top right of screen where your name is there is a drop down arrow, click on it and then select profile. You will find options, however I do not think you can change your screen name but all other options such as avatar are changeable including uploading your own picture if you really want to.

Facebook has been having some issues with pictures here lately. The problem you're having is on their side (nothing to do with your profile settings or anything) so you'll have to submit a question to them. You should be able to contact them at this help page.

This will only work if you use the same email address on FixYa and Facebook.
First sign out of FixYa. Next click Join FixYa in the top right of the screen and then click the Login with Facebook button in the window that pops up. If your email address is the same on FixYa and Facebook you should be allowed to merge your accounts.
If your emails are not the same for both sites, then you will need to create a new account by clicking on the Login with Facebook button, which will use your Facebook credentials to create an account.

Go to your personal facebook profile, bring your the mouser over your profile picture and an option should appear beside the picture saying "change profile picture" or "edit profile picture" click it. After that just browse through your pictures and select one or upload from your computer.

After selecting your photo on your profile page, make sure you scroll to the bottom of the profile section and click the "Save My Information" button.
