Carriage of my futura 200 is stuck

The carriage of my machine is stuck. When I turn the machine on it only makes a strange sound and blinks red lights. I have tried turning it of and back on. unplugging it but no luck. The last time I used this machine it worked perfect.

Turn off the machine, remove the Hoop from the embroidery arm, then turn it back on. You'll notice some of the hoops have an extra piece of metal that the machine identifies it with. Mine just didn't like the hoop I had on.

My xl400 singer embroidery carriage has stopped working. Will not move at all when machine is turned on. Also keep getting msg error about hoop size but no hoop attached.

The switch for "sew" or "embroidery" must first be in the "embroidery" position.
Make sure the connections are very firmly pushed in.
If it still isn't functional it may require some small motors to be replaced. The motors are what makes the hoop move.

Board

Close your futura file & exit, switch off your futura machine. Disconnect the embroidery unit from the machine, move the hoop carriage a bit to the left then to the right & it should be able to move. Connect back embroidery unit to your futura machine, ensuring the connecting point click properly. Re thread the machine & ensure needle is fully up position. Now you switch on the machine, you will see hoop carriage moving and stop at its zero point. If that is OK and the earlier led blinking gone, you should be able to operate the futura embroidery program again.

Needle is hitting the metal under the bobbin carriage and machine won't pick up bobbin thread. Needle is in correctly.

First, try a brand new needle. If it was damaged by the previous activity, then it could be causing both problems.

Futura ce-200 "parked" in wrong position.

The embroidery carriage

Wow, I finally get to have a solution.
1. Turn the machine off.
2. Remove the hoop.
3. CAREFULLY slide the bar on the embroidery unit to the left.
4. CAREFULLY slide the piece where the hoop attaches toward you.
5. Turn on the sewing machine. The machine should take the unit to "standby" with a click.
6. Attach the hoop with the power on.
7. Exit the Futura program.
8. Restart the software.
This "should" fix the problem, however, you may have to repeat this process more than once to get it to "stick".

My emroidery carrage reads the wrong hoop i have done every thing the manual says to do but it still tells me the small hoop is in when

When using either hoop you should place the frame on the carriage before you send across the design as there's a sensor in the carriage. Also when you send across the design and it asks you if you want the design optimised for speed you must always say YES. If this doesn't work then i suggest sending the machine to your local agent as the sensors may be faulty.

Singer Quantum Futura CE-200 Problem

My machine did the same thing. I had several frustrated nights ans then it just started to work. Some suggestions that I had was that there may be dust where the units connect. Not sure what I did, but it worked.

Carriage not returning

Dear Netter - I too have a CE-200 Quantum Futura Sewing/Embroidery Machine. I have run into similar problems. I have tried the various things suggested: remove hoop, turn off machine, turn on machine, replace hoop. However, often the carriage does not return to the initial location (carriage all the way to the left, mounting plate all the way to the bottom, closest to the user). I have found that with the gradual application of force, I can pull the mounting plate all the way to the bottom of the carriage. I turn off the machine before I do this. I have not tried to move the carriage to the right or left; I have not had to. Sometimes when I turn the machine on, it beeps steadily (more than the usual 3 or so complaints). But when I turn it off and on again, eventually it is ready to continue embroidery. By doing this, I may be causing damage to the machine or making the warranty void. If you do it, you may face the same problems. Or it may make your machine into an expensive paperweight. I can't offer you a complete solution for your problem, but I hope this helps.
