I tried the answers on the internet but my camera doesn't have the proper items in the menu that steps tell you to follow to resolve the issue.
Do you have the optional sd memory card instaleld in the camera?
Have you formated the sd memory card or MMC card as suggested on page 37 of the user manual.
on page 36 on image storage settings = If set on Auto it uses the external card if there is one installed rather than the internal memory.
You need to have a memory card installed in the camera !

Enter main menu, scroll down to "Setup Menu" and then navigate to "FORMAT". Simply format your internal or external memory, and thats it.

dont you worry about that, the only thing you need to do is to format internal memory., you can do this by pressing menu button then scroll down and look for setup then press Ok button.,
now under setup press down arrow again then look for the word format then press Ok button, and you need to select the internal memory to format., gudluck!
