Just connecting to the wi-fi
To resolve this do the following:
Power cycle the Roku player by removing the power connector from the back of the Roku player. Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect the power. Wait for the player to restart, then follow the on-screen instructions.
If power cycling the Roku player did not resolve the error then a network power cycle might.
To do this remove the power connector from these devices. (note that your router and modem may be one physical unit)
Roku player
Wireless router
Modem
Wait 30 seconds then reconnect the power connectors in this order, waiting 1 minute between each device to allow it to fully boot.
Modem
Wireless router
Roku player
Follow the on-screen instructions from the Roku player and TV.
If none of the above steps worked then a reset of the Roku player may be needed. To reset the Roku player find the reset button. (Consult your user manual for the location of the reset button on your specific model) Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds then release. The Roku player will then restart. Follow the on-screen instructions for setup.

The E011 error code is usually a router firewall problem. If you can turn off the firewall in the router when installing Roku that may solve the issue. This is not to be confused with the computer firewall in Windows which is left ON. When you go into SETTINGS/NETWORK your screen should look similiar to the attached picture.

You have to go to www.roku.com and sign up for an account. Once you have signed up for an account (yes you have to give them your bank stuff in case you use a pay channel) on your account page there at the bottom right of the page is a link to "Link A Player". This is how you get your code.

Reset your local network!
You will have to either remember your password, or reset your wifi back to factory settings and set up a new password. In order to clear the "code 011" error, you will have to hold the reset button down on the Roku for at least 30 seconds to do a factory reset. But, don't do this until you get your wifi password issue squared away first.
I hope that helps.
