Seiki 55" 4K TV turns itself back on right after turning off. This only happens right after streaming media to blu-ray/wi-fi and powering that off. Not a blu-ray problem, did the same with another brand.

Do you use isolated power supplies for your TV and components? I suspect I power transient is being reflected to the line that your TV is sensing. Your on/off is an electronic relay that can be sensitive to voltage spikes. This may not cure the problem but I do suggest you acquire a voltage regulator for your electronic devices as a first step.

Why won't my tv pic up any channels through why fi like my other Samsung does

Is your new tv a smart tv? If not, you would need a streaming player of some kind. Roku player, fire stick, gaming console, Blu Ray player. Not all TVs support Wi fi.

I just started streaming I don't know how to get started. I have a Philips blue ray disc player

In order to stream programs with your Blu-ray player, you need to connect it to the internet. You also need to have a high speed internet service in the house. The first option is to connect a network cable from the router to the dvd player.

The second option is to use the built-in Wi-Fi in the Blu-ray player to connect to the router. Some players do not have built-in Wi-Fi, but there is a little receiver unit you can buy and plug in on the back of the unit.

Once you have an internet connection, you need to sign up with a streaming service, like Netflix or Hulu. There will be a procedure to connect your player to your account.

Your user manual will provide more detailed information about internet connections, streaming sources the player supports, etc.

Unable to reconnect to wi-fi

If you have not done so already, reset the player to factory settings and try again. If an ethernet cable connection is available, use it to get the best connection speed.

How to hook up RCA BRC11082E Blu-ray DVD player to stream NETFLIX wirelessly? Is there a USB Wi-Fi adapter

Run an ethernet cable to the back of the player from your router. You will then get wifi on your blu-ray player. Very simple to do.
