Hi
Amazon have run several free trial periods for Amazon Prime which has certain benefits, and at the end of the trial period they charge the annual fee, £79, to a registered card, unless you cancel within the trial period.
You can find out more about it by going here:
Amazon co uk Help Amazon Prime

You do not need to sign in to Amazon for this but you will have to to Manage Your Prime Account, if you wish to cancel Amazon Prime membership.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

Someone purchased a gift card and charged it to my account and i did not authorize the charge

I would first write down everything you know about this (when, where, time, amount) and contact the place where it was purchased and your credit card company ( if they charged it to your credit card and not just to your account). Most cards protect the consumer from unauthorized uses and do not hold the cardholder liable. If you get no where, escalate to supervisors or managers. If you still get nowhere, contact your state attorney general. Keep good notes on whom you contacted, date, time, what they said. Good luck!

My credit card shows 3 charges for EZ Pass and we only have 2 cars. What is the third charge?

Did you check your EZ Pass account statement for details?

Charges to your CREDIT CARD are 1) when balance runs low or 2) if they decide your recharge amount needs to increase for increased activity.

Charges to your ACCOUNT are for each time a car passes a toll point.

Neither depends on how many cars have transponders on your account.

Good luck and please rate this answer 4 stars if helpful.

I have a charge on my credit card statement for Netflix.com 4 Andar Sala. I do not know what this is for and am trying to find out how it got on my credit card

I don't have an answer for you but I have the same charge on one if my credit cards also. It has appeared twice or three times now with the same amount and I only noticed today because I have been sick for s while and not checking my statements regularly. Mine is on s Chase card. The charge is an international transaction from Brazil.

Call your credit card company immediately. You should not be held responsible for the fraudulent charge.

Purchased PC Ulta Speed through Pay Pal . You paid for it twice. Two amounts of $39.92 taken out of my bank a/c as per statement i have just received? from Bank of Qld Beaudesert

If you are wondering why you have two charges on your bank account statement one possible reason is the other is only for pre authorization. What is a Pre-Authorization?: A pre-authorization is a temporary hold of a specific amount of the available balance on a credit / debit card. The pre-authorization is NOT a charge and you are not responsible for paying for it.

It is one way of verifying the legitimacy of the transaction especially if its done online.
When does the Pre-Authorization Get Released from the Credit / Debit Card This depends on your individual credit / debit card. Upon your checkout of the motel, your actual room charge will get posted to your credit / debit card. Once our actual charge is posted it can take anywhere from 24 hours to up to 3 weeks for the pre-authorization to be removed by your company.

Hi everyone.. i have made a payment using my credit card for my telephone bill amount.. first time it should an error processing the request and the second time the amount of 866 was credited.. however i...

First of all, this is not a operating system problem.

  1. If your billing company has good service, you should call them up and get the excessive amount refunded to your credit card. They won't do this unless you ask them to.
  2. If you are using telephone banking trying to pay off your credit card debt, you should not be worried, the credit will stay on your card for you to use. If you really want the excessive amount to be refunded consult step 1.
  3. You should easily find the service number on the statement.
