Asko W6021 Front Load Washer Logo

Asko front loader fills with water when switched off and once turned on will immediately sense it and drain it from the machine. What could be the problem? The machine still washes beautifully, even after 11 years and three loads per day.

If machine is filling with cold water, problem is cold water inlet jammed open. Either replace it with a new one or swap over the hot water inlet - if there is one - and only connect cold water to machine.
If you choose to swap inlets you only need to switch the two wires from each inlet valve and swap the hoses over so that the cold water is then connected to what used to be the hot valve. Leave the hot water disconnected or turned off. Access is through the top of the machine - undo screws at rear of lid and nudge the whole top backwards to release.

SOURCE: Machine drains and dial turns directly to S after filling with water.

moe thasn likly you have a pressure switch that is either telling the machine its too full and making it drain or its not seeing the switch and so it drains. Another possibility ids the machine is leaking. Pull the lower cover off and make sure there is no water in the bottom. These askos have a float switch down there that will run the drain if the sense water leaking into the lower tray. Last but not least, you could have a bad timer. these timers are covered for 5 years (parts only) from date of installation. The first 4 digits of the serial # will tell yuo when the machine was made the firts 2 are the year and the second 2 are the week of that year (so a serial beginning in 0145 woul;d mean built in the 45th week of 2001 and so on. Good luck!

SOURCE: ASKO w6011 FRONT LOADER

Try to Open the safety compartment using a screwdriver under the wash machine in the front.
Then open the big white knodb this will cause the wate to drain out which is fine.
Then clean this out. Usually you will find coins and stuff here from years of operations from pockets. clear these out and your problem maybe fixed. worked for us

SOURCE: machine wont stop filling with

Same thing happened to my ASKO W600.  Sounds like the water inlet valve is blocked or broken so therefore can't stop the flow of water coming into machine.  Check it out and replace if necessary.

SOURCE: Washing machine fills with water when not in use.

Either your pressure in the main line bringing water to your machine is insufficient; or your intake water valve is defective; which you can replace easily.

SOURCE: Asko w640 has a water inlet fault

Check the drain line to make sure the water does not siphon out as it enters the machine.

Asko W6021 would not fill with water

Our W6021 front has had a couple of instances where it would not start the fill cycle as usual. Normally it would be switched on,the relay would operate and the water would begin to enter the bowl. We tried a number of things including checking the hose and inlet filter for blockage. We then checked the outlet drain pump trap and found a coin and a drill bit lodged in the entry hole to the trap. Once the foreign objects were removed ,the machine operated as normal once again. I will be very careful in future to empty my pockets of metal things.

Lg top loader ie error message, fills ok, but water running out of bottom of machine

Hi IE means Inlet Error. The machine thinks that it is not filling (as a certain time has passed without reaching level it wants).
This makes sense if water is running out the bottom.
You will need to find the leak. Maybe the tub to pump hose, or the drain pump itself. Once you stop the leak and the machine can fill in the correct amount of time, you shouldnt see the IE error any longer.

Whirlpool front loader duet hd washer gets stuck in the wash cycle with the error code of F02. What is F02 mean?

Whirlpool Duet front-load washer F02 usually means it is taking over 8 minutes for the washer to sense that the rinse or wash water has drained, which either means that the drain/filter is clogged or the pressure switch/tube is clogged (causing both the washer to over-fill with water and not sensing that water has drained).

To clear out the drain/filter, tilt the washer backwards a little for easier to the kick-plate and support the front bottom with a wood block or similar, remove the front kick-plate's (3) retaining screws and swing the kick-plate up out of the way. The filter drain is behind the white knob in the center, be prepared with something to catch any remaining water and lots of towels to soak up any spills, and turn the knob counter-clockwise to remove the filter.

I have an f3 and f4 error code on asko washing machine front loader. i know what the error codes are just dont know where they are anyone can help I need it thanks

F3 indicates a problem with the drain pump. At the bottom left of the machine, theres a square cut-out. This is where the drain pump is located. Using a flat head screwdriver or similar object, insert in opening on right side and gently pry open the drain pump cover.
Once the cover has been opened, be careful when opening the drain pump, as there is always a little water left in the drain pump. Before you open the drain pump, place a small container on the floor below the drain to catch the water. Pull the small black hose from the door and let the water drain into the container. You can now open the drain pump to clean it out. Also clean the pump rotor at the back of the pump housing. Replace the drain cover and reconnect the drain hose securely back to its position on the door. Close the cover.

F4 indicates a problem with the water inlet valve. Make sure the water supply is fully turned on. If no water enters the machine, then turn water supply off. Disconnect the hoses from the water inlet valve to see if the strainer in the inlet connection is blocked. Reconnect the hoses and turn on water supply. Hopefully this solves your problem.
