Keeps running hot, system has been flushed several times and water pump replaced, anti freeze turns to a rust red gel. They say it will do it again. what can I do?? (first time I took it because it would not heat, after they flushed the system in 2 weeks it started running hot took it back they flushed system again and replaced water pump, 1 week later it started to run warm again they flushed system again and told me the antifreeze was turning to gel and that it would happen again, no way to stop it. I have had this car for 5 yrs it has 85,000 miles and has never had this problem before.

It will be your water pump, the impellers will be corroded off, just like mine were.

Welcome to Fixya
First ting you need to check is the battery. Get a voltmeter and test the battery. You should be getting 13.1V reading. This is the voltage usually needed to start the engine. If battery is ok, test the ignition system. Turn on the headlights and attempt to start your car. Have somebody look the headlight if it will go dim. If headlights wont go dim then the problem is the ignition switch.
