we have the stacking kit parts but can't find the instructions for installation. the washer and dryer are Maytag. Can you provide basic instructions?

I have a stacked Frigidaire FEZ831CA washer/dryer combo and when running the dryer it makes a very high pitched (AND LOUD) screeching sound. Any ideas as to what might be the problem? Thanks, Sean

Sean, Bad felt gasket body to drum, if belt drive on dryer, it could be worn and slipping, making a screech, or if not the belt, the drum may have a worn bearing on its hub allowing it to run crooked and rub where it should not.

the 2 plastic pieces 1 goes on front 1 on back,,place the one that has open for dryer legs on back,,,and the one in front does not have openings you must pick up dryer to get font on ,,slide back first than pick up front

This stacking part is all you need. It is a white plastic bracket that attaches from the rear of the two appliances. And it should have come with instruction too.

Need new washer to stack on my dryer!

measure your dryer carefully and check with the dealer where you wish to purchase a machine, regarding
the stacking kit. It may work. They are general standard sized. Don't ry to gerry rig anything or you may have big problems. In your case I recommend using a well known SMALL appliance store that does theri own installations, so they will bring what they may need, but if yours works, they can still use it.Good Luck
